FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I believe in full disclosure - explain to the potential customer what is included and excluded in the hourly wage. For example, if an extra part is needed and I have to make a trip to the hardware store, I make it clear how much it will cost the customer for that trip. My trip charges range from $25-$40 depending how far I have to travel.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In the initial conversation with a new customer, I state what is important to me. I believe in providing quality work at a reasonable price. I believe in showing up on time and working hard to satisfy the customer's repair requests.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Coming from construction family, I grew up repairing projects at home. After college, I moved to Denver and started my own fix and flip business along with a real estate broker company. During that time, I learned a lot about several construction trades and now I can apply it to home repairs.
