- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was originally drawn to this path of qigong healing for its mystery, its depth into the unknown, as well as its insistence that the practitioner be responsible for their own healing and development. I have always enjoyed these experiences that bring me to the brink of what I imagined I am capable ofevery aspect of me being compelled and challenged to become more fully engaged and alert. Of course, as I began this journey into qigong, I did so in much the same way I began everything else in my life at the timewith an unstable, full-charge-ahead, perfectionist approach, with no concept of how to relax and how to take a step back to enjoy the scenery. In fact, I actually thought I was relaxed. But, it wasn't long into my practice before I began to truly see myself for the first time; feeling levels of peace and joy that I had never known could even exist.
