Introduction: When I took my first Reiki class, I knew healing was the path for me. The benefits were so profound, that I decided to continue on that healing path and to dedicate myself to study and teach Reiki. Reiki is an ancient and powerful healing technique. Reiki, pronounced Ray-key, means Universal Life Force. The human body has natural healing processes which sometimes are hindered by blockages. Reiki energy can help to clear these blockages. It is practiced by placing your hands on or just above the body and heals on an emotional, spiritual, mental and physical level. Reiki can be used to reduce stress, anxiety and pain. It can speed up the healing process and reduce or take away symptoms or illness or injury. Reiki can also help restore physical and emotional well-being.
