FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have a standard hourly rate for my services and offer a complimentary 1-hour consultation to new clients. I charge an additional fee for clients over a 20-mile radius from my location.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first like to sit down with my clients for an hour consultation in a setting they feel comfortable in whether it be at their home or meeting for coffee. I ask various questions regarding what they are looking for, deadlines, likes and dislikes, and any why they are looking to hire an interior designer. After discussing details, I like to walk through the space with them and then proceed to send theme boards of color and furniture selections to help them visualize plans I have for their space.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my bachelors degree in Interior Design and Marketing from Bowling Green State University in 2013. I interned oversees in London working with an Interior Design firm in 2012. After graduation I worked as an Interior Design Consultant at Restoration Hardware before moving on to furniture design company Jonathan Adler. I currently work as a Visual Merchandiser for Target.
