Introduction: I am a Certified Master Inspector. I am also certified by three different national training facilities for home inspection. All together, I have 21 different certifications, with six years of experience in the real estate industry, as well as 10 years of construction experience.
Some of our certifications include home inspection, commercial inspection, mold testing, radon testing, and infrared inspection. In addition, we are fully trained in the art of sewer inspection. We include thermal imaging of the problem areas in the home as part of our inspection. Other companies often charge you for this type of inspection as an additional service.

Extremely happy with the work done and efficiency by Jamal, Shanna and Jered. They were extremely detailed, paid attention to everything in the house, and even walked me through explanations as a first-time home owner. This was an inspection for a brand new home, so I wasn't expecting anything to come out of it. However, they discovered four major issues: Puddle of water on top of the garage after running water for an hour, found by the thermal imaging they do of the house, a gas leak in the basement, a half-blocked sewer line (Jered showed me the scope video he took), even though it's brand new, and the fact that they forgot to insulate the roof of the ceiling, even though it's an option we paid for. We're closing on this house in a few days, so we're extremely happy we decided to pay for this inspection out of pocket, since the builder will now have to fix all these items as conditions for closing.Moral of the story: Regardless of what the seller, or builder, tells you, ALWAYS get a full home inspection, INCLUDING the full sewer inspection. And I would wholeheartedly recommend Nathan and his team at Safe Investment Home Inspections to do your home inspection.We're also doing a follow-up, once the builder has finished the repairs, and again before the home warranty expires in 1 year, so we can be sure we won't be having problems in a few years.

I am a first time home buyer purchasing a condo in need of a little TLC. Needless to say, I was extremely nervous about getting an inspection and worried that it would discourage me from the home I chose. Nate came in and was able to wipe my worries away. He was extremely professional and educated. He gave me an overview of the process and walked me through each step. As he inspected the home he continued to explain everything he was doing and educate me on any of the issues the home had. I received my inspection report less than 24 hours later. Accessing my report was so simple and easy to navigate. The report was organized, descriptive, and full of photos for reference. On top of the overall report there was a list of "Recommended Repairs." This made prioritizing repairs even easier. Nate was truly fantastic and made this process so much simpler than I expected. I was recommended to Safe Investment Home Inspections by my realtor and was incredibly impressed with the serviced me and my girlfriend received.
