Amazing job and so friendly. I would 100% use them again if I wasn't moving to LA. I wouldnt think of using any other carpet cleaners in Denver. They even have a guarentee on their work for move outs and just genuine people. Thank you both for doing such a great job!

They did a good job cleaning our carpets. After our carpets were cleaned, old pet stains showed up. They came back the next business day and re-cleaned the stains for free.

Ben is excellent at what he does. I got so lucky to find him and his service fees were incredibly reasonable especially compared to other carpet cleaners on Thumbtack. I absolutely will be hiring him again in the future.

Ricardo did a fantastic job installing my carpet. I did not get my carpet from him. Instead I bought it at Home Depot to match the other carpet and he went and picked it up for me. I asked him to replace two sections of carpet and he added the stairs in between so it would match better (much appreciated). All in all he and his helper were propmt, curtious and professional.

They did a move out cleaning and carpet cleaning for me on a home I had listed and did a great job, took the time and effort to really do the job right, sent me pictures of what it looked like when it was done and promptly got me a receipt for the completed work, highly recommend!

Fantastic workmanship, reasonably priced and they work hard to make it the best job possible. I work in property management and the job they did on both of my homes is the best job I have seen out of any carpet cleaning company I have ever worked with. They are amazing.

I hired Drake to tear out and haul away 2 rooms of carpet with pad. He provided a very fair price, arrived on time and did the work very efficiently. He also followed up as promised with a very reasonable bid to replace some bad subfloor panels. Drake is a very reliable young man doing things right, somewhat of a rarity these days. Can't recommend him highly enough!

Anthony was totally amazing! We had a super last minute request and he made it happen. Our carpet has NEVER been that clean since when we first put it in and he did it for a beyond reasonable price. We have used a few different carpet cleaners over the years, but will make Carpet Clean Group our new go to because we were just totally blown away with the quality of service, professionalism, and friendliness we received. Thank you, Anthony, for fitting us in and cleaning out those red wine stains!

Spectrum carpet cleaning did a fabulous job. They were friendly, fast, and got some bad stains removed. Highly recommend the citrus scent they use to get rid if orders.

I just had a really great experience with Doug and Grace Flooring. Doug was always working with me and keeping me updated with the material he needed for the job. He took the extra effort in finding a way to get what I wanted and came up with a solution to make everything look great. He was always on time and got back to me promptly. The carpet he installed in my wood floor looks great and is a great add on to our new home. He’s a very personable guy and is really reasonably priced. I would definitely go back to him again if I ever needed any kind of flooring done. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for any type of flooring that needs to be done and someone who is going to be responsive, do good work and on time. Thank you Doug and Frank. You guys did a great job!!!

Very impressed with the service I recieved. I had a very dirty and stained carpet and I called them for a cleaning. They came the same day and had my carpet looking brand new and took out stains that I thought wouldn't come out. So now they will be coming on a monthly basis for my carpet.

Showed up on time, friendly service, very reasonable prices, carpet was wet and took some time to dry, but kinda expected that. Hair and fiber piles left in spots, so had to vacuum again after wards. Surprised he didn't elevate furniture legs on small blocks as other carpet cleaners have done to protect furniture feet and better access to carpet. Over all good for the price. Just looking to get the carpet cleaned after a long winter inside with dogs.

IF there were 6 stars, I would give 6. Alberto did an incredible job with the carpet and tile cleaning I asked him to do. The home is 3300 sq ft and lots of carpet, some tile. He arrived on time, and worked non-stop until he was done. The tile looks amazing like new again. The carpets had some stains which were able to be removed successfully. The previous owner had a dog and as cute as she was, left a faint smell on the carpet in the basement. Seems like it is gone. I will definitely use this company again, hopefully the same technician. They did what they said they would do, no tricks, hidden upsell or pressure. Thanks for your honesty and hard work. Carpets look great. Smell great too.

This company did a great job! Zach answered the phone when I called. He was very friendly and he even shared his views on sustainable living and socially responsible business. Carrie showed up on time on our appointment. She was friendly and she worked very hard. She cleaned the baseboards, vacuumed, mopped the floors, cleaned the mirrors, sanitized the bathroom, dusted, and cleaned the flat surfaces. She used a microfiber cloth to dust, which she explained is better than a feather duster because it grabs the dust. The feather duster simply moves the dust into the air, which is unhealthy. She used a mop with a microfiber mop head that can be washed and reused. She used Simple Green cleaning products which are safe for the environment and people. I love that there is no chemical odors left after a cleaning. I'm completely satisfied and I'll be recommending them to friends and family.

    Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How often should carpets be steam cleaned?

Dirty carpets can be unhealthy for the people living in the home, particularly those who have allergies, so it’s important to have them cleaned regularly; simply vacuuming once or twice a week isn’t enough. Carpet cleaning should be done by a professional carpet cleaning service at least once a year to remove grime and help extend the life of your carpet. Most carpet manufacturers recommend professional steam cleaning, which penetrates deep into the carpet fibers and lifts out both dirt and the pollutants that get tracked inside. Steam cleaning also removes most of the moisture, so carpets dry quickly enough for homeowners to resume using them the same day. Between professional carpet cleanings, your carpet may need an emergency spot cleaning. Pet accidents, food or drink spills, and more can often be effectively cleaned with some water and a drop of white vinegar, although many cleaners will also make house calls for smaller spills and hard-to-clean spots like wine or grease stains.

    Who cleans area rugs?

Like your carpets, area rugs should ideally be cleaned at least once a year to remove dust and dirt and help them last longer. In general, carpet cleaning professionals also clean area rugs. Some rug cleaners bring their cleaning equipment to your home, while others remove your area rugs and clean them at their facilities. Either way, the rug should be cleaned with the solution most appropriate to its specific fabric and construction. It should also be completely dry before you return it to the floor.

How much is the cheapest carpet?

If you’re looking to reduce carpet installation costs, there are several ways to save. Start by considering your carpeting needs. Manufactured materials such as polyester and nylon will be cheaper than natural fibers such as wool. From big box retailers, starting prices for olefin-based carpet are approximately 50 cents per square foot — making the cost under $5 per square yard. Indoor carpets made with olefin fibers are typically the least expensive on the market. Keep in mind that olefin fibers are not as soft on bare feet as other fibers, so are often used in areas like basements, playrooms or indoor patios. Nylon and polyester are good options to reduce carpet installation costs while still creating a cozy feel. The face weight, fiber construction and density of a carpet all affect the cost per square foot. The cheapest nylon or polyester carpets can start at just under $2 per square foot, making them about $18 per square yard. Lower-cost carpet tends to wear out more quickly and show stains more easily, so avoid light colors and vacuum regularly to keep the fibers clear of dirt that might age it too quickly.

How much does it cost to install carpet?

If you’re ready to bring new life into your house with a makeover from the ground up, you’re ready to learn more about carpet installation costs. Installation costs vary greatly, depending on a number of factors such as the type of carpet, the number of square yards, any necessary repair work, the number of stairs you have, and where you live. Due to these variables, the national average cost of carpet installation ranges between $200 and $4,500.

To start planning for your new carpet, measure roughly how many square yards of carpet you’ll need. Research the main carpet styles and materials you like to get a feel for what they cost. Nylon carpets are typically the least expensive, and wool is one of the higher-end carpets. Prices per square foot might range from under $2 to over $10, depending on materials. Count the number of stairs you want carpeted; each one might average between $3 and $10 (or more for box steps). Carpet removal can be an added cost as well, averaging $1-$4 per square yard, depending on the company and regional disposal costs.

How much does it cost to clean a rug?

Area rugs are typically found in high-traffic areas of the home, like hallways and entryways, so they collect more dirt and stains than simple vacuuming can handle. Similar to carpet cleaning, professionals can come to your home to deep-clean your area rugs. The national average cost for rug cleaning ranges from $80 to $120, but may be higher or lower depending on the rug’s size and fiber type. Rug cleaners generally charge by the square foot; for example, a standard 8-foot by 10-foot rug costs an average of $100 to clean. Natural fiber rugs, such as wool or silk, are usually more expensive to have cleaned than synthetic rugs. A carpeting cleaning company may charge on average $1.50 per square foot to clean a synthetic rug, $2 per square foot for a wool rug, and $3 per square foot for a silk rug. Some delicate rugs need to be washed by hand, which increases the price. Carpet cleaning companies often offer additional services, such as removing odors or applying moth deterrent, which can add 20 cents to 25 cents per square foot.
