I love pianos. I have been playing since I was 7 and took a strong interest in tuning and repairing them immediately following my graduation from college.
*In 2007, I began an apprenticeship with the tuner that tuned my piano as a child. It involved text book work, following her to tuning/repair appointments, and a lot of practice on my own piano.
After a year of working with this tuner, I began tuning professionally.
- I tune by ear with pitch forks, rather than using a machine. I believe them to be more reliable.
*I have worked for numerous schools, theaters, universities, hotels, recording studios, churches and private households.
- Businesses I have recently worked for include the Side 3 Studios, Denver Center For Performing Arts, Arvada Center, University of Colorado, Brandeis University, Aurora Fox Theater, Creede Repertory Theater, Town Hall Arts Center, and the Ritz Carlton.
*I have been tuning professionally for 9 years
