What an amazing team of professionals. Gio and Jennifer are incredible. They are nice, professional, they listened to our ideas and incorporated them into the video. They treated us so well with wonderful snacks and lunch. The video was done on time and it's great. I can't wait to work with them again. I also highly recommend them.Aug 27, 2018Verified
Music Video Production
This was my first music video and Rocket House pictures held my hand the entire way. They are a lovely, supportive and talented trio. Great sense of humor and a professional approach. They made me feel completely comfortable through the entire process and I am beyond happy with the final product. Will 100% use them again and you should too!May 24, 2017Verified

Gio and his Team at Rocket House Pictures were great to work with and turned our project around quickly! They were very professional and delivered a great and informational final video for our company. I would highly recommend Gio and Rocket House Pictures!Aug 8, 2014Verified
I cannot say enough good things about Gio and his amazing team. We hired them for an equine non-profit fundraiser video. It’s my mother’s company and I had watched her make a less-then-optimal video in the past. I took the project very personally since it was...my mom. I could not have been more impressed with Gio. They went far above expectations. They took her project personally and took a deep interest in telling her story as beautifully and correctly as possible. They had a strong intuition for storytelling. Further, they heard the essence of her story and translated it into a stunning piece. They took extraordinary steps to help non-film people become comfortable, relaxed, and genuine on camera. They met every deadline. The attention to detail was incredible. Gio and his team’s talent is obvious from the moment you meet them. The quality, creativity, and care of his project is worth triple his quote. I look forward to working with him on every project I encounter in Denver.Dec 19, 2018Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?First things first, we don’t charge by the hour. We’re sometimes asked for a 1-hour video shoot; however, customers don’t see all of the pre and post-prodution activities that take place. Things like travel time to and from the shoot, color correcting the video in post-production, and converting the files into something they can use. In short, video production takes a lot more than an hour. We charge by using day rate or sometimes a half-day rate. Basically, we figure out how much time will be spent on a project (how many days), then we apply the day rate to come up with our total cost. The most frequent question we get is how much does a 3-minute video cost… or a 2-minute video… or a 60-second video? Regardless of the video length, the answer is always… it depends… and here’s why. Let’s use the 3-minute video as an example. The finished video might be 3-minutes, but each 3-minute video can vary greatly in how long it takes to produce. We’ve had 3-minute videos that took just a few days to produce. We’ve also had a 3-minute video take nearly 2-weeks to complete. It all depends on what has to be shot and how much time we’ll need in post-production.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? Our typical process in beginning a new client relationship is to start with a 30 minute conversation. We offer this complimentary session to each and every one of my prospective clients in order to ensure a good fit. This initial strategy session will help us get clear on what your video needs are and how we're going to get there. If either one of us finds we are not the right expert for you, we will do our utmost to find a trusted colleague who may be. If we decide to move forward together, Rocket House Pictures will begin by sending some "pre-production" assignments to get the ball rolling.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? Our cinematographers and camera operators have been trained by the best, with years of experience in the field. We encourage and promote the development of the following skill set to every of our crew members: - An eye for detail and a mind for fast invention, - Thorough understanding of lighting techniques, light color, shade and manipulation, - Strong technical knowledge of cameras and the film production process, - Strong communication skills, - Strong team management skills, - Excellent listening ability, - Flexible approach to adapting knowledge already accumulated to achieve an improved result.
