FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My first massage experience was at a chiropractor's office where I was being treated for low back pain and nauseating headaches. I had never considered receiving massage before, as I viewed it as something only the rich did to be pampered. It was lucky that I was introduced to medical massage before anything else, as I soon discovered all the powerful pain relieving potential of massage therapy. After this life changing experience, I decided to study massage therapy to help others the same way.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Although I offer many modalities, I specialize in Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy (aiming to release "knots"), and Structural Bodywork (aiming to improve posture).
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would suggest finding a therapist that knows their anatomy and physiology. There is a big difference between "massage" and "massage therapy". If you just want to relax, any licensed professional might suffice. If you are looking to address specific goals, a knowledgeable massage therapist is a must.
