It is our mission to continue education in order to give our clients the best service possible. However, make no mistake there is a reason that "Personal" comes before "Trainer". The reason why we love what we do comes from the relationships with our clients, and the feeling of community we have created. We currently have the only 2 Certified Amazing 12 Transformation Coach in Colorado. We specialize in Body Transformation Programs, Corrective Exercise, Strength Training, Sport Performance, Functional Movement Patterns, and Overall Health. We have a B.S. In Exercise Science and Kinesiology from CMU. Amazing 12 Transformation Coach, Certified RKC Kettlebell Instructor, FMS 1 & 2, NCSF CPT, NCSF Sports Nutrition Specialist, Rock Blade Soft Tissue Specialist, and USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach. I have been in the fitness industry since 2010 and have serviced well over 30,000 personal training sessions and counting. Overall health can usually be separated into 6 individual components: Resistance Training, Cardiovascular Training/ Endurance, Flexibility/ Mobility, Nutrition, Supplementation, and most importantly Behaviors/ Mental Well Being. Only when all 6 of these are in harmony can we really unlock our true human potential. As with any program adherence is the key to successfully reaching our goals. The Sixth Union is achieved once we have maximized results, conquered previous goals and believe anything goal is achievable. The emotional transformation of this person begins to impact everyone around them, the client begins to become the trainer and one by one we gain the ability to impact the world.

Personal Training

This is my first time working with a personal trainer and I wish I had started sooner. Michael is exceptional. It’s obvious this is his passion and his knowledge is awesome. He is always providing/coaching things that he has tried and trusts. He is realistic and doesn’t sugar coat anything. So don’t be thin skinned. The sense of humor is an added bonus. Be ready to work hard and to have fun.

Michael is an awesome trainer! He made sure to structure the workouts to my personal goals and was always considerate of my thoughts and feelings. He is extremely knowledgable and I have seriously learned SO much from him such as maintaining correct form to maximize the effects of the workouts and to help protect my body! I have a pretty hectic schedule, but Michael is very accommodating and accessible so it was never a problem to get workout sessions in or to get questions answered even outside of our sessions. He is also personable, outgoing, funny and uplifting which makes it very enjoyable to workout with him.

Personal Training

I'm now into my weekly routine (twice a week) with Michael. I've put this personal trainer thing off for a long time. As an older adult, I did not want to get started with a trainer who would not listen to my goals or put together a plan that would take me - step by step - where I want to go. Michael is the best mix of listening, adapting and pushing me with a positive but realistic interaction. He has kept me involved in understanding not only what I need to do but why he is directing me in this area. Even when I stumble through a set of exercises he patiently corrects me. It is a real non-threatening atmosphere. I am confident that I will get the results I desire with Michael's guidance. I certainly would recommend him for your consideration.

I’ve been working with Mike at ATO fitness for about a month and a half and it’s been fantastic! His training approach and workouts are so specific to what I need which makes it feel very personalized to my goals. I feel like I’ve made so much progress in such a small amount of time and have so much more confidence when working out on my own. Not only do I learn something new every session, I always walk away feeling like I did an awesome and challenging workout. Fitness is something I actually look forward to now because of my training sessions here...highly, highly recommended!

Micheal is an awesome trainer. I had been looking to make a change in my fitness routine, and from the first meeting with Michael, I knew this was the right place for me. He took the time to educate me and also listen to me about my previous fitness experience and my goals. During our first few sessions, he took the time to do a functional movement assessment and correct my form and bad habits I had picked up at other gyms. In a short time, I have already seen an improvement in my strength and endurance. Each session leaves me feeling even more motivated, and I am very happy I signed up with Michael.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    I have structured my prices in a way that allows great options to allow everyone access to elite level training. I understand the importance of both Time and Money. However I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for. During our free consultation we will design a program specifically for your physical needs and scheduling. Then together we will determine which options will work best to maximize results, longevity, and of course your budget. I have no doubt that after doing your research you will find our prices very competitive with the mainstream corporate gyms, with the added bonus of an experienced trainer.   • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    The first session are free of charge and the first 30 days will be at a discounted session rate for all new clients. The first session will revolve around completing all of the beginning assessments as well as leading you through an example session of what your individual program will look like based on the personal goals you have. Based on your goals and current physical fitness level, we will create the perfect program that will work with your schedule and maximize results and project a realistic time frame in which you can expect to reach your initial goal. I want to not only EARN your business, but build your trust in my abilities as a trainer while applying additional value daily to create the ultimate health transformation experience.
