- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$20 minimum. $35/hr residential jobs -- and I do trade $ for food, or return services :-) $60/hr business jobs. Complicated isn't it? :-)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, EVERY problem leads to at least some empirical learning, and many require on the spot research and learning. There is too much for an army of technicians to know it all!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Fixing my own computers and other hardware. Others find out that I know how and they just ask me. Almost all of my customers come to me via recommendation from other customers!
