- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have a standard pricing system for 1-on-1 and 2-on-1 (couples) lessons - We charge tuition monthly for a given number of monthly lessons, normally either 2, 4, or 8 hours of lessons per month. We require a 4 month commitment for new students (with exceptions) After 4 months, students continue month to month and may cancel any time. For groups larger than 2, and for our professional groups, tuition depends on a variety of factors. For groups larger than 5, we are able to come to the student's facility to deliver the course lessons.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We schedule a phone or in person consultation and begin with a needs and goals analysis to make sure that we are a good match for them and they are a good match for us. After we determine that our services are a good fit, we then determine a monthly lesson frequency, scheduling and start date. After tuition is paid, the student then comes to his or her first lesson where they receive their learning materials and begin learning Spanish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up speaking Spanish and then went on to earn a degree in Spanish language. I studied in Boulder, Colorado, Mexico, Argentina and Spain. In addition to traditional studies, over the past 2 decades I have worked all over Central and South America leading tours for National Geographic, MotoDiscovery, Overland Adventures and other companies, acting as an interpreter and facilitator.
