Audio Recording - Longmont 2019
Photos and Videos
Eric recently reached out to me about recording my album. I'm a singer-songwriter who has previously worked with Grammy nominated producer, Paperboy Fabe, in Los Angeles. Even though it had been a while since being in a studio, Eric made the environment super fun and comfortable. I'd been looking to record my own original music for a while, and Eric turned out to be a perfect fit. He was professional, open-minded, and super efficient in his work. We ended up having the entire album finished within five-six months! Great work ethic, amazing talent, and super helpful!Oct 20, 2018
I believe Eric Reid, the owner of TBM Studios, is one of the best recording engineers out there. He is very professional, up to date on the latest and greatest recording software and knows audio recording backwards and forwards. He's always professional, responsive and punctual. I also feel he has a lot to offer and also charges an affordable price. I would highly recommend him! The best audio engineer (by far) whom I have ever worked with! A+++++++! -Alan SkowronSep 23, 2018
Wrote this review earlier, hope it posted. I’ve worked in hundreds of studios over the years and met a lot of creative professionals. Eric at TBM was totally professional, efficient, and had great gear at a reasonable price point. Also, I had a very short window of time to complete my project and he made it happen without breaking my budget. I will work with him again!Oct 17, 2018Verified
Eric is such a great guy and producer. He drove all the way from Windsor CO to Highlands Ranch CO to help me in my studio. The dedication and professional service TBM provides is remarkable highly recommendOct 15, 2018
I’ve logged thousands of hours in studios as a professional cellist, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and song writer. Eric at TBM, was focused, had a great selection of gear, and fit me into his schedule in a very short window of time. I tracked several tales with him in a short time, and ended up having him master another project for me. The results were amazing and a great value to my project! I hope to work with him again in person and remotely.Oct 17, 2018
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I charge $30.00 per hour. I use this model as a basis for all projects but on some projects I have no problem giving a set fee quote on the overall production.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First establishing common ground on the music and the vision the artist is going for. Simple conversation and some examples usually take care of this. Then we figure out scheduling, then we make music happen.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have over 20 years experience in the audio engineering field. I have extensive knowledge in music production and music business. I have worked with National artists and local artists from Hip Hop to Country and everything in between. I am also multi-instrumetnalist and singer songwriter. I have toured all over the country for 9 plus years in my original band The BreakPoint Method. This gave me insight on investors, contracts, and the way the business works.
