FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It's a matter of if my hourly rate is a better deal or if a quoted price is,
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to break the ice. I want them to feel like they can say anything and ask anything. I want it to be fun. I'm the kind of guy that will be still smiling after a 10 hour job. I must say: I will give my client respect, and I do need that returned.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to school for architecture, while spending a lot of time in a foundry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This has given me a wide range of tools to use that I can cater to my client. I would say my strengths are fine woodworking and metal work. However, I've worked in 3 different wood shops, on 2 different construction crews, interned in 2 different architectural offices, and have done whatever I had to to pay the bills.
