Lemar was very helpfull and perfessional in conducting my music video. It was a delight working with him!
I had been trying to teach myself guitar intermittently for the past few years through a variety of ways - instructional dvds, youtube videos, tablature sites, etc. While these resources are helpful, they haven’t taught me proper form or technique. I was really concerned that I’d be learning bad habits that would be hard to correct and slow my learning down. I’m fortunate to have a wonderful wife who, for my 45th birthday, bought me a month of free guitar lessons with Gene Crout. We started out with a few basic chords, a scale or two, and a few songs in the very first lesson. Taking lessons with Gene has been a really great experience. He’s friendly, patient, and extremely knowledgable about music. He’ll instruct me on whatever I’m interested in that week - it could be specific chords or techniques, guitar types, beginning music theory, how to change strings, etc. Nothing compares with having an instructor to give you real-time feedback on the fundamentals, to show you first hand what you're doing right or wrong, and when you're feeling stuck – to suggest the next step in the journey to become a better guitar player. I always look forward to lessons and I always leave feeling that I’ve made progress. I highly recommend Gene!
I had a recording of a short poem I needed to record to mix with music for an upcoming dance performance. Colin was very timely with his email communications and easy to schedule with. Everything was comfortable in the studio and he gave me exactly what I needed in the simplest way possible. I would definitely go back to him for other recording needs!
I was able to confirm a phone call with Eric, the first thing in the morning at 7:15 am. I got an appointment for 10 am . Eric is very professional and experienced. He made it a great experience and send me the digital image within two hours. I would highly recommend Eric and Cold Springs Productions. Eipe
Scott and his group showed up early to set up for sound check and were really fun to work with. When we had some last minute hiccups at our event during set up, they were flexible and laid back while we figured them out. Once they began playing, our guests kept commenting at what great music we had chosen and how great the band was. Without Scott and his group, our party would not have been as fun or engaging for our guests. I HIGHLY recommend hiring him for any event, big or small. We definitely will be for our next party.
Brandon helped me with my course in audio engineering. He helped me out at Colorado Sound Studios. Brandon really knows his stuff when it comes to audio! He explains things very clearly and simple, which is something I really liked. He has a very good attitude in helping out and if I didn't get something he always looked for a different method of explaining. What was really cool is that even after my course in audio engineering he's been helping me out. If I have a question on something to do with audio I will shoot him an email and he'll help me out! Now that's awesome! He's great at getting the best recording, mixing, and with audio gadgets. Knows lots of mic techniques and he he himself is a musician so that helps out a lot.
We hired Sienta Jamar to play a wine tasting of about 50 people. He was beyond awesome. We asked for a variety of music from chill to dance. He read the crowd and the structure of the evening perfectly. We all agreed he made the party and he must play all our future parties. In addition to being seriously talented, he was easy to work with, professional, and a really nice guy. 100% recommend. (A side note: it is so great not to worry about playlist / speakers / volume / timing / how the crowd is feeling when you’re hosting a party - hiring Sienta Jamar is the way to go).
We love Jeremy and Modern Music Studio! Our boys have been taking guitar lessons from Jeremy for two years, and he makes it fun. They love going, and Jeremy goes out of his way to get them excited about music and customize their lessons. Highly recommend.
I am immensely grateful to have found Nick on here! Jared and Nick were attentive to what I wanted to accomplish and truly understood my creative vision. Both of them took my music to a whole new level that FAR exceeded my expectations. Whether you need help with writing, production, or need to be pushed to the next level as an artist(for me it was all three of these), these guys are the ones for you. Highly recommend!
Mike did an excellent job creating the logo for my non-profit! He sent me multiple rough drafts and provided quick responses when I contacted him. A few weeks later, I decided to reach out to him for creating a promotional video and he nailed everything I asked of him! Even when I requested changes, he was quick to the draw and had revisions ready in a matter of minutes! He even used his own music for the video which was a very unique touch. What doesn't this guy do? I might as well just hire him to organize and take better care of my own life.
My experience working with Pete has been amazing. We recorded an EP together. He made the whole process fun and the finished product was outstanding. I would recommend Pete and World Famous Studios to anyone who wants to take their music to a new level!!
Clarke is a talented piano player with an impressive repertoire of classic compositions. He has an affinity for the music of Alkan and Rachmaninoff and his talent for playing these composers' and others' arrangements is inspiring. He is a supportive and encouraging teacher and is able to focus lessons to the level of the student. His teaching techniques are professional and based on standard piano pedagogy, but that does not mean that he will not try more unorthodox methods if needed to help the student progress. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a technically proficient, energetic, and giving piano teacher.
My wife and I had the privilege of spending an evening surrounded by the melodic and soulful music of Synchronicity. It is our intention to share their music with others through personal introduction and recorded music as soon as possible. The harp added a magical sound that is not found easily and difficult to forget. Best wishes Ladies - you'll go far with your music.
Lyza is able to connect with young children and adapt to different learners. She started with our son when he was 3.5 and he was very interested in actually playing Instruments. Most folks just turned us down and told us to take one of those toddler group classes as he was too young for real lessons. The classes were all nice but not all that interesting to him. We tried several different places. All with great reviews like swallow hill and such. Lyza has a great balance of structure, free form, global exploration with the various instruments she brings with her, focus on specifics of an instrument and learning to read music. She is also a really intelligent, kind and fun person who you can completely trust with your child. Value - she comes to your home for 45 per hour. And it's a full hour. Often a bit longer. That is an amazing value. At |15-30 for various 45 minute group classes you are better off doing lessons with lyza every other week.
I found Mike on Thumbtack. He has been giving guitar lessons to my son Phoenix. Phoenix enjoys Mike as an instructor because he is patient and really understands what my son's interest in music is. We see Mike once a week and he is very dependable. I'm so glad we used Thumbtack. Thanx
My musical experience lies in the fact that I have been privately trained through the Boston’s school of berklee’s curriculum . I can teach anywhere from beginners to advanced students . I can teach how to read , music theory , and I can usually access a student immediately on which way I should start curriculum wise . Teaching is my passion I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I always drive to the student and am very professional .
I am willing to work for less due to lack of experience. (Even for free if beneficial to both of us)
I am a Denver-based musician and songwriter. My career started when I was in 5th grade. I have written original music for various artists as well as for myself. I have also played with various bands in the area.
