This is what I call professional perfectionist
My business had a bad Exit sign and fire department asked me to fix it. As cheap as I am, I bought two signs from Amazon and tried to do it myself. Long story short, it did not work out and I shorted one circuit and burned one light fixture.
Brian came to help! It turns out that 1) the old exit sign and emergency light does not even have a switch, which I knew. 2) One of the Exit sign that I bought was defective, which is why it did not in the first place). Brian provided me a working one, for free. I hope that he won’t do this to everyone, then he will be in trouble. And he also make sure the light fixture is wired correctly. All at a (small) fraction of my expected cost. He came back to check to make sure everything works well.
Then I asked something about my home. With 30+ years’ experience, Brian was able to point out what is wrong without even take a look: “I bet your 220 volt outlet does not have a proper neutral and that might be problematic.” YEAH, I took a look, he is perfectly right.
Very impressive. Good Job, old man, and keep it on.
