- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I always aim to provide an excellent customer experience, along with a finished product that you will be completely happy with, all for a competitive price. Once thing I've found that my customers appreciate is that I am as thorough as possible with my estimates and quotes on projects, and provide transparency with my pricing so you know exactly what you're paying for, and there are little to no additional costs that come up after hiring me. Sometimes unknowns come up once a project starts, or the project changes to a degree based on your preferences that affect the project cost, and if this does happen, I always make sure you will be informed of these changes, and get your buy in before moving forward.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
This depends on the type of project that is being done, as well as the customer. For larger projects there is some planning that needs to be done to make sure we have all of the product we need to complete the job, which I can help with sourcing if needed, or provide guidance so you can get what we need. I also can and do enjoy providing design guidance as well when desired. For smaller projects, we can just jump in and get started right away if you have everything needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Prior to starting Colorado Dream Home Services, I was trained on many aspects of home renovation and repair for several years by a few different mentors who taught me about all the different aspects of the home renovation business from bathroom renovations, to flooring projects, and kitchen renovations, even aspects of electrical work and plumbing. I have renovated entire homes myself, which I found to be an entirely satisfying experience and taught me a lot as well. While working in the real estate business, i would work with different contractors on various projects for my clients, and that taught me a lot about working on homes in general as well. Most of my education has been in the field, working for clients, and learning by doing.
