Don did a great job on our project. We had some framing and sub floor replaced under a leaking window and he took the time to show us where the window was leaking, what was damaged, and talk us through everything. He was knowledgeable, communicated well, and cleaned up nicely after the job. We could tell he was taking the time to do everything right and not just rush through. We would use him again!

Being a new homeowner, I’m already learning how to do certain things around the house. What I thought was a messed up DIY fan install turned out to be a small mistake that was easily fixable. With Jamie’s help, instead of “just doing the job,” he walked me through what to look out for on future installs, gave me tips and advice for other house projects, and was just overall helpful in teaching me how to help myself in the future. We are so happy that we chose Wise Choice for our projects. Jamie is an amazing individual. He shows up! (which having worked with other vendors who don't, this is a big deal). He works hard the entire time he is on site. He provides quality workmanship and takes responsibility for anything that doesn't go quite to plan and fixes it. When he came across small items such as caulking that needed to be done, he did it.
I needed grab bars installed in a shower area, among other things. I had had the tile replaced two years earlier and was worried about what would happen to the tiles. Jamie installed the bars and they look like they had been a part of the original project. So pleased with the outcome.
I can recommend Jamie without hesitation. He is personable, capable and detailed in his work.

Jamie is fabulous to work with. He clearly stated his cost and minimum hours. Jamie let me know what he could and couldn’t do. He arrived on time and was very professional. He cleaned up after each job. He assisted me with exterior trim damaged by woodpeckers, covering basement insulation, repaired dry wall and installed numerous lights. I highly recommend Jamie.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I’m very transparent, I work by the hour opposed to a flat fee. If I over estimate my time, I only bill for the actual time worked. I will also provide you with a detailed breakdown of time worked using a clock- punch application. I don’t markup materials, you pay what I pay.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Often times we can provide an estimate based on your photos. We will however, happily come to you for a detailed inspection and estimate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a strong belief I can teach myself just about anything within my intellect. I’m a consumer too, your experience and the knowledge I gain from these endeavors are what keeps me going!
