FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer discounts for those that choose to sign up for monthly lesson programs and pay for lessons and leasing in advance. Prescheduled lessons are reserved and cost less.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
All new customers are placed into an 2-hour horsemanship program to ensure safe handling of horses on the ground. Our horses have been trained a specific way, so though you may have a lifetime of horse experience, we want to be sure you are trained in the same methods our horses are trained in. Once you have completed a 101 class we have a rider evaluation, this allows us to find the best horse in the herd to suit your needs and abilities. We focus on classical instruction, form follows function, proper seat and hand placement combined with soft cues create the most successful partnerships with the horses.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our instructors offer horse care, nutrition, and wellness programs to complement our riding lessons. We feel that all riders should understand how the horses bodies function to be the best steward to the horses making for the most willing equine partners.
