I am now the proud owner of the cleanest gutters in my neighborhood. Francisco also recommended and executed some repairs including patching a hole in the overhang of my garage and matching the paint. He did such an incredible job and I would definitely recommend this company, not only for the quality of work, but for the ease of communication and affordability as well. I could not be happier with the job that was done and will definitely be using this company again in the future!
Toby did an excellent job painting for me. It was a tough job as there is one wall that is decorative cement block and one will with a stone fireplace that goes to the ceiling. Was careful and did not get paint where it did not belong.
Fantastic experience with Jacob and his team of paint ninjas. I was contacted and quoted immediately and they started work the next day. Especially being the busy season, I was very impressed with their responsiveness. Also the guys were real professionals and very nice. The quality of the work is fantastic so this is a 5-star review, well deserved. Thanks Jacob!
Overall, we are very happy with the job that John and his team delivered. We hired Final Finish Painting to paint about 10 rooms/areas in our 125 year old house that is full of character and surprises. John's team always arrived on time. They set up their equipment outside and worked with us to accommodate our schedule and our kids. John is very responsive, adaptive to client's needs and communicates his recommendations, availability and such well. The team is definitely experienced and know what they do. Certain areas took longer to paint and fix back in place - kitchen cabinets especially proved to be tricky - but overall they kept a very good pace. It was the first time we worked with a painting crew, and I learned that it's a good idea to discuss expectations upfront. For example, let them know how you expect them to deal with the furniture, books and other things that they move to access walls and cabinets. Do you expect them to put your drapery back up? And so on. I'll definitely hire Final Finish Painting again and would recommend them as a professional and experienced crew.
We HIGHLY recommend Uriel to paint! Such detailed work and amazing customer service. We would hire him again in a minute!! Everyone should!
Josiah, owner of Papa’s Home Improvement is professional, personable and knowledgeable. He & asst Pablo arrived as scheduled each day and after we discussed projects went right to work. Josiah did several plumbing repairs/upgrades including fixing a leak someone else couldn’t despite several attempts. They painted interior doors & frames - cleaned & prepped surfaces properly and applied paint cleanly. Required 2nd coat although white on white. They did numerous handyman tasks including some outdoors. Josiah made suggestions that benefited projects. Josiah & Pablo are honest & trustworthy – important when bringing strangers in your home. They are friendly and VERY hard workers who go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. They did extra work without charge to make sure I was happy. I recommend Papa’s Home Improvement for a broad range of tasks and projects.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Good Painters! I initially hired The Good Painters to paint our living room and 2 bedrooms. Their work was so fantastic that I decided to also have them paint all of our hallways. We also have popcorn ceilings which make clean lines more difficult but they navigated the popcorn perfectly! Jim always responds extremely quickly. I am extremely pleased with their work and I would ABSOLUTELY hire them again!
Selecting Total Eclipse turned out to be a terrific choice! Very kind and courteous and also a wonderfully applied a perfect coat of new paint to our Master Bedroom! 5 BIG Stars!
Randy responded to my request immediately and was able to complete this job in a quick turnaround. He made sure to completely understand what I wanted regarding colors before he started. Randy also went above and beyond to ensure all trim was looking as fresh as the walls and that I was happy with how the room looked when he finished. I loved only supplying paint and letting him do the rest. Thanks for a quality job, Randy!
Fixed an old gate, could not lock. It now is like new. Painted and fix walls in back landing it was in bad and very tall. Now it looks good, a very good job. I will use Matt again. Thanks a lot.
Jim's eye for color and his willingness to "go the extra mile" made the process of selecting colors for our home a breeze. The actual painting was equally smooth and the results--spectacular! Highly recommend Jim and his talented team of painters for your next paint job.
Steve did an excellent job and was very easy to work with! He made this task simple. All I had to do was buy the paint and empty most of the room and he did the rest. The spare bedroom now looks fantastic. Steve was extremely quick to respond to my request and came over first for a quick estimate and then for the appointment to paint. I'll definitely use him again. Thank you Steve!
We had a leak in our upstairs bathroom that went down to the main level so we needed a bathroom remodel and new drywall and texture in our dinning room. They tile work was great and everything looked good when they had finished. I do wish there was better communication on when people were coming and going for the day.
I'm very pleased to have picked Scott to paint my kitchen. He hit all the marks that are important to me. Quality work, fair price and punctual. He did a really good job on the paint side and professionalism side. I would hire him again for other paining projects. Thanks Scott.
We worked with three people at Foothills Painting. The first person, Hillary, was awesome. She answered lots of questions and helped us understand the whole process during the quoting stage of the process. In the end we decided to go with Foothills painting because of our interaction with Hillary even though the quote was a little more than other quotes we received. From that point things went downhill though. After we signed the contract I never received an emailed copy of the contract as expected. When it was time to schedule the job (since we hired them a month before we needed them) I had to call Kyle (the production manager and 2nd person I worked with) 3 separate times (once per day) plus another call/text to Hillary asking for help getting a hold of Kyle before getting a callback to schedule the painting job. When I finally got a hold of Kyle on Monday he said he could either do Friday or Monday of the upcoming weekend and he would call on Thursday to confirm which day it was. On Wednesday I found my drywall work was going to run through Friday and we needed to have paint start on Monday, so I called Kyle, went to voicemail and left him a voicemail stating paint needed to start on Monday. I never got a callback as he said he would give me. On Friday the painter arrived despite my voicemail stating I wouldn't be ready. I was planning on getting the house ready over the weekend for paint to be ready to come in. For fear of being charged a return fee or further delaying paint I said Jose (the third person I worked with) could paint the dry texture on the main floor. When I got home that day I found all of my tools pushed to the center of the room in a big pile of trash (there was no separation between trash and tools). I had to go dig through the trash to make sure my tools and other parts for the house were not thrown out later. I later found out the mounting brackets for the towel holder and toilet paper holder for our bathroom were tossed in the trash can under our vanity and inevitably were thrown out, requiring us to buy a new set. Originally we were told the painters were going to roll paint on rather than spray, which is what I told my drywallers, so they finished the ceiling to be good for rolled paint rather than spray which would have required an extra coat of flat texture on the ceiling. Unfortunately Jose decided to spray to save time so now our ceilings look terrible in some spaces where rolling the paint would have hid the imperfections better. Another issue that came up while painting is the paint didn't completely cover the wall. There are spots where the sheen is matte rather than eggshell due to the new drywall absorbing too much of the paint because enough paint wasn't used. When I pointed this out Jose said I'd have to buy more paint and that it would be an upcharge. During the initial quote it was known that there would be new drywall though, requiring enough paint to properly cover the new wall. I'm not sure if this issue came out due to a bad estimate or due to spraying the paint on, losing 30% of the paint to the air requiring one more coat that wasn't estimated originally. Because Jose was working on the weekend I had no way to discuss this extra charge to Kyle and Jose said I could either pay him for the paint while he was there or I'd have to pay twice as much to have him come back and do another quote. I decided to pay there and figure it out with Foothills later. Once Jose was done there was still spots with mis-matched sheen (I have a photo attached of the stairwell that was 100% new wall but the paint is still patchy). As well as the mis-matched sheen in places there was overspray on everything as well as some damage that needed fixing, it took Jose 2 full days to fix everything. Some things that needed to be cleaned/fixed: * Cuts from one of their taping tools on the ceilings in several rooms and the stairwell. * Cuts from their taping tool on my Nest thermostat trim piece requiring me to get a new trim piece (Jose spray painted it brown to cover the cuts, but that made the trim no longer fit the thermostat). * Wood stove, windows, vanities, lights had overspray on them. * carpet had overspray on it as well as spilled paint( when the overspray was cleaned an oily residue was left behind that I had to clean up instead). * A switch and outlet were completely painted (there was zero taping on the switch and outlet). * A corner in my hallway had all the drywall rubbed off due to the hose rubbing along it * Vent covers were all oversprayed. In the end when I could get a hold of Kyle to try to figure the cost of the extra paint out and why it had occurred he wanted me to figure things out with his sub-contractor Jose rather than resolve things with Jose himself. Given they hired Jose I should have worked out the price with him and he should have figured out what the fair amount to give to their sub-contractor should have been. This made the whole process even more complicated and frustrating. In the end we were left with a paint job we could have done ourselves and more damage and frustration than we bargained for. I wish things had worked out, our experience with Hillary was excellent, but unfortunately everything else was terrible.
I hired John to patch a hole in a wall, add texture to the finish and paint the spot. He did a fantastic job...you can't tell at all that there was a large hole and the texture and paint blend in perfectly! He was very reasonable in terms of price, responsive and very pleasant. I will definitely hire him for future jobs.!
This was my first time to use "Thumbtack" and I am very happy with the results of my first job. Peter made it very easy to get my job done, by communicating via thumbtack to estimate my job and then he came out to look at the job as well. He did a wonderful job with a trellis that I needed to have painted. He also did my job in phases, which I requested, since I have not had time to pick out the paint for the rest of the project. Very clean, taped off, used tarps, would HIGHLY recommend and look forward to working with again! Thank you Peter
I have worked with Five Star Painting on two projects so far, they are now my my preferred painting company and I will continue to use them for all of my projects. Being a Project Manager, I want to work with companies who are professional, responsive and who care and deliver a quality outcome and at a good price. What I like most about Five Star Painting is their process, right away the schedule someone to provide you with a free estimate, they are knowledgeable in what they do and can offer many suggestions. As soon as you accept the quote, you are contacted by a Project Manager who oversees your project from start to finish. The painters are extremely hardworking and skilled. They show up on time and are clean and professional. I had Five Star Painting paint three bedrooms, bathroom and a full basement with ceilings, they did an amazing job. Don't waste time calling and getting quotes from anyone else, call Five Star Painting, you won't regret it! Leah
Kevin is a very talented artist and a meticulous painter. He helped choose the paint colors for our house. His work is impeccable. He is especially amazing with accent walls, When he was done, our walls looked beautiful and our accent walls were truly a work of art.
This crew helped us in a time of need. Got it done on time and for a super fair price. They are honest and easy to work with. We were in a hurry to get our entire house ready to sell. New floors, paint inside and out, siding, baseboards and trim work all done in 2 weeks!! They found a gift card for $300 to Lowe’s (we had misplaced it when we moved in) in the rubble and returned it to us....honestly is an amazing quality these days! Thanks again to Marcus and his crew, a job well done.
Gabriel has done a few painting projects in my house and me and my wife have been very pleased with all the work hes done and we plan to continúe to use him in the future. I would highly recomend him.
