I have done private yoga sessions with Erica Straub, and love them. I've always been active and an athlete (and recently done a lot of dance). I find it hard to find teachers that impress me for any activity -- not intentional, but I am a tough critic. That said, Erica is amazing. My yoga sessions with her were some of my favorites ever. I loved her focus on the hips (even more so than other yoga classes), the athleticism required throughout, and her approach. (Not to mention, good music selection too!). She started with poses that weren't traditional lead-ins for a yoga session, and it helped open my body up literally and figuratively. Each time I did a session with her, I felt 100% better than when I started and had lasting benefits on my flexible, strength and state of mind. I highly recommend her!
I see Kelly for both Reiki and Yoga sessions. Her gentle, healing touch during Reiki has helped me to relax during my busy lifestyle. Kelly’s vinyasa flow classes are amazing and follow a consistent upbeat flow. Sometimes at the end of the week I enjoy a great restorative yoga class to help me unwind after the work week. I highly recommend Kelly for both Reiki and Yoga sessions.
Nicky was extremely attentive and intuitive when working with me and gauging the type of experience that would benefit me most. My level of yoga experience was that of a novice, yet she knew I could push harder and helped me to escape my comfort zone relatively seemlessly. It was awesome to be able to have her come into my home and work with me on my schedule. I definitely recommend her and her services!

Meredith was professional, fun, and listened to exactly what my needs were for our class. I booked her for my sister's bachelorette party. It was a mix of beginners and intermediates and Meredith's class was great for all levels. She had a great sense of humor and she tailored the music to our specifications. It was amazing and I would highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for a private yoga class.
I had the pleasure of taking a private yoga lesson with Jennifer. She's an amazing teacher. I was very impressed by her experience and knowledge about yoga. She made me feel very comfortable. At the end of the session I felt very relaxed. She taught me many poses to help with my back pain. I will be taking more sessions with her.
I am a fellow yoga teacher of Casey's and I am always blown away by her classes! So knowledgeable in the yoga while also being very encouraging and compassionate. Being new to yoga, I was looking for the right yoga instructor who could help me reach peaceful sustainability, teach me health maintenance, advanced meditation techniques as well as teach me the basic yoga exercises/movements. A wealth of knowledge and training along with the personal attention to my ability, past medical history and future goals is very important to me. I attended several classes at my local gym an was not at all impressed with the instructors, class size, atmosphere and lack of education on the yoga principals/history. I came across Brian on Thumbtack while looking into private instructors in my area. I was immediately impressed with his training in yoga, physical fitness and nutrition. His certifications surpassed all other trainers in the area. So I decided to give him a try. I have had several private and group sessions to date and will enthusiastically continue to practice with Brian. Upon arrival I notice that his studio was pristine and welcoming. His use of aromatherapy as well as herbal teas creates a wonderful scent and a feeling of calm. Brian provided me with a private session to get to know me as a person, my health history, my future goals and introduced me to him and the history and variations of yoga practice. This was a wonderful session and he has since tailored my on-going personal an group sessions based on the information he obtained. Brian's classes are small and personal. Brian: - speaks clearly and his instruction is well-timed with the music and movements -the music is played at a safe speed and is appropriate for the group and atmosphere -Brian exhibits strong movements and posture and demonstrates them properly to the group and offers alternatives for newcomers -all movements are safe and he offers adequate safety tips - motivation and interaction: Brian is incredibly motivated and makes eye contact with participants as well as assist with poses - has an energetic an peaceful environment - Brian's classes have all the expected components; including an adequate warm-up, cool-down and stretch. Meditation is a big part of the classes and personal sessions. I always start and end up feeling completely relaxed and at peace I highly recommend Brian to novice-advanced yoga students. Sarah has in-depth knowledge of physical therapeutic exercises. Being a teacher, I am always on my feet, using my voice, stressed out, etc. and she helps to target all of these issues while simultaneously giving me a full body efficient workout. Each lesson is customized to my mood and how I am feeling that day but often a lot of repetitive movements to track my progress. We do a combo of strength building and stretching as she incorporates both Yoga and Pilates principles. I am often very busy and having the convenience of Sarah coming to my home makes my life that much easier. Sarah is a great yoga instructor and I am stronger physically and mentally because of these private lessons, I thank her.
Carrie is an incredible yoga teacher and person. Her passion for yoga and sharing her wealth of knowledge with her students and fellow yogi is genuine and sincere. I have taken hundreds of yoga classes over the last 15 years and rate Carrie as an +A teacher - when we have had the chance to have one on one sessions she customized the class perfect workout for me given my advanced yoga experience and long term injuries.
I have been attending Hollie's yoga classes for about 6 months and she is an awesome teacher. I go to several studios just to be in her class! She has extensive knowledge and structures each class based on the students' needs and ability. I would highly recommend Hollie and one would be lucky to be taught by her.
My experience with Rasheem was incredible. His hands are very magical as he is very skilled in what he does. His combination of Qi Gong energy work, acupressure, shiatsu, fascia manipulation And Tai Yoga stretching did unbelievable wonders. It took away my pain and and had me totally relaxed. It felt like the perfect combination. I have never experienced a massage like that before. I am so spoiled as I will never allow myself to be treated by anyone else. I had a lot more energy than I had before massage. 60 minutes definately isn't enough time. You feel as if you want more and more time. I have been so blessed meeting Rasheem. Kelly is amazing! On a whim I decided to try out yoga for my first time but wanted to go somewhere that I would feel comfortable and I am so happy I found Kelly. She is an amazing teacher who keeps the classes fun and fresh. She switches up each class and I always leave feeling so refreshed and relaxed. I would highly recommend!
