Chelsea has given me singing lessons for almost a year. She has taught me so much if I ever become a success it will all be because of her. I can't think how my lessons could be any better.

I have never taken singing lessons before. With just a couple of lessons with Mara I have noticed a tremendous change in my vocals. I am able to reach notes that I did not know existed for me, I am in better control of my breathing, my phrasing is better and overall became more confident in my singing ability. Thanks Mara!

I have not been working with Pamela for long, so ask me again in a couple of months and I'll probably change to 5 stars! So far I enjoy my lessons and the exercises we do have already expanded my range. My high E used to be just a squeak but now I can really sing it after only a few lessons, and I even feel more confident with my lower range - something that has always been a struggle. I look forward to seeing what is in store with her guidance. I fully recommend Miss Pamela!

I have been going to Gary for 9 years. My girls have received lessons from him in piano, drums, bass guitar and vocals. Gary is an amazing and patient teacher, but more importantly, a wonderful person and friend! I highly recommend him to anyone of any age who has a passion for music. Gary is truly a talent!

Annie was absolutely amazing. First of all, I'm not the most confident when it comes to singing, I enjoy singing, and I write songs, but I often feel like I couldn't deliver when it comes to singing them. That's when I started looking into getting some voice lessons to help with my technique and hopefully unlock a few things! Annie showed up right on time for our first meeting with a free consultation- (awesome! who gets free stuff nowadays in New York?). She asked me what I wanted to achieve and asked me to show her my songs (in which I was nervous about but got over it quickly because she was super open minded about it). She pointed out the good things I did in the recordings and then gave me some pointers on the parts I could work on further with her, perfect and yes please. We've had 3 lessons so far and worked on 2 songs to keep the lessons exciting. She gave me a few exercises to do on my own, helped with breathing techniques, and even advised on some dietary factors that would help keep my voice healthy. I highly recommend her if you are looking for someone who cares about your progress, listens, is non-judgmental (my biggest need for my shyness), and has a whole lot of knowledge to give!

Anette is the absolute best vocal teacher i have ever worked with. Not only has she found a way to help me learn techniques that i thought were way out of my reach, I have seen her adapt her teaching style in a heart beat to people who have completely different learning styles (I am very analytical and need every muscle and movement explained in details to be ale to reproduce something) to me while participating in group classes. I do both individual and group classes with Anette (i think it's amazing to get a chance to learn from how other people learn). Anette has improved my ability to sing Rock (including screams) and Blues but we sometimes visited genres as diverse as Baroque or dove deep into specific singers I admire and wanted to emulate. Above all, the depth of Anette's knowledge and the breath of her technique means she was able to take me far beyond my technical limitations while teaching me how to keep my instrument healthy and functional for the long term. Whatever your level from absolute beginner to professional, I am sure oyu will learn something from Anette.

Both my daughter and I have been working with Becca for almost 3 months now, and we both love her to pieces! Not only is she incredibly talented and able to coax amazing sounds from my not even 5-yr-old, but she has helped me to expand my understanding of my own voice, my strengths and weaknesses, and build my confidence. My daughter absolutely loves singing the songs that Becca picks out and we both get excited for our lessons! She's a wonderful teacher and a beautiful person. You won't regret giving her a chance to teach you what she knows!

I cannot say enough great things about Rock House. The owners, John and Cathy are amazing. They truly care about the students and go out of their way to make them feel welcome. The instructors are so knowledgeable and great to work with. Rock House helped create my son's band and they practice just about every week with John at Rock House. The whole experience has changed my son's life. He is loving every minute of singing and playing guitar and so am I.

I have been studying with Laury for 6 years now, and there is a good reason why I've stayed so long. She brought out a voice in me that I never could've imagined was there. Today, I am a soprano who can vocalize to a E6. I got offers to study at 3 musical theatre conservatory programs and 1 vocal performance program. Laury's prepared me for all my auditions, musical or just acting, and I really owe her for the success I've found. Laury uses a system of using repetiore to find your voice, and from there using exercises to teach a resonance in the mask based vocal technique. This technique is a renound opera technique that focuses on a bright sound and vocal safety. Laury herself is incredibly qualified to teach vocal safety and she has brought me back from the brink of vocal damage due to an illness. At this point in my training, my technique is solid enough to find my own sound in every song while staying vocally strong and healthy. Along with technique, she teaches musicality, emphasising not just singing, but performing. I have incredible respect for her experience and education as well. She has worked as a professional actress, opera singer, and producer. She takes her experience and shares with her students what she has learned over her life. She has taken pains to prepare me for the world of professional theatre. Along with all of her objective qualities of excellence, she's also been a wonderful friend through the years. Although I'm leaving to pursue my career, I know I'll be back to brush up on my technique!

Amazing vocal teacher! Nicky is a great vocal teacher who is kind and patient. She has been working with my 11 year daughter for about 3 years. Nicky makes the extra effort to use age appropriate songs and part of the lesson includes music theory. Win win! My daughter can’t commit to the practice time necessary with an instrument, so we went with vocal lessons with Nicky. With singing she can practice any time and anywhere. Nicky has been able to bring out some beautiful notes, making this mom very proud. Can’t beat the price - she comes to our home and is a very accommodating with our crazy schedule. Again she is an AMAZING vocal teacher!!

Cantormum is caring, knowledgeable, talented and intuitive. She is able to tease out one's issues and challenges to singing and gives the person techniques and exercises to sensitize the person and teach him how to overcome them. She teaches singing using music the person loves and finds the pitches that are within the person's range to grow. My son leaves her lessons ready and motivated to practice what he's learned.

Michelle Lambert is an experienced, well educated, highly professional, truly passionate voice instructor. Her resume speaks for itself. My 11 year old daughter recently started with Michelle and we saw a difference in her singing from the very first lesson. She has an amazing way of explaining very technical exercises in a way that is easy to understand. She is patient and caring and my daughter loves her lessons with Michelle. I would highly recommend her.

I can’t recommend Tristian enough for both youth and adults singers. Although her lessons are relaxed and fun, her methodology is rigorous and you can see your progress grow noticeably from week to week. Equally skilled helping nervous first-time singers and professionals prepping for auditions, Tristian’s positivity and encouragement help her students perform with skill and confidence!! Whether you are interested in stretching your range, improving your lyrical interpretation or just having fun while you sing, Tristian will help you get there!

Will, a brilliant singer and performer, is a very knowledgeable, encouraging and generous teacher. He was very respectful of my time, responsive to my vocal concerns and adjusted very well to changes in my work schedule. When he had to be out of town singing for an extended period of time, he provided me with an interim voice teacher who he knew well and trusted. I recommend him without reservation.

I’ve only had one lesson and I was very nervous in the beginning, as I had never had taken a vocal lesson before. James made me feel very comfortable and at ease and I found the lesson very interesting and I learned things about my vocal range that I didn’t even know about or was even possible. I highly would recommend James Valenti as a vocal teacher to anyone who would like a memorable vocal lesson experience!
