I was referred to Jeanne at Hudson Valley Ceremonies through a friend who used Jeanne as a wedding planner. I hired Jeanne to coordinate our wedding and she went absolutely above and beyond. We just love her and feel like she was a member of the family by the big day. She helped us with invites, getting us whole sale prices, totally got our design esthetic, did all of the flowers for us (they were amazing, vibrant and perfect for our organic farm wedding), she helped with deliveries, rentals, random questions like how much to tip. She was there for the run throughs and the morning of to make sure I was okay. She was responsive through email at all times and took care of every little thing so I didn't have to stress. I had a call with her about 2 weeks before the wedding to just review everything and afterwards I realized I had nothing to worry about it was all in good hands. She helped us with a make your own Photo Booth, let us use her jars for table decors, had wedding signs, did place cards and hung twine to display them on, had table runners, had a projector and so much more that she just let us use. It saved so much on rental fees. She also knew exactly what we needed to rent so we could stay on budget and have what we needed for the site. She coordinated with the band and reception venue for me and just made the day of absolutely perfect by helping us stay on track with timing and getting everything set up. I couldn't recommend her more and I will recommend Jeanne and her team to everyone I know who is getting married!
Terry reached out to me as I was on the look-out for a wedding decorator. She took the time to listen to my vision/needs, then added some of her own suggestions (after checking in with me) and delivered a beautiful mandap along with some matching aisle decor for my Indian wedding! She offered to even do a trial set up at the venue and coordinated everything with the venue herself, which made it easier for me. Even when we had a slight miscommunication, she was so graceful about it and we were able to get back on the same page very quickly! She is hard working, easy to work with and I would definitely recommend her to future brides! Thanks Terry :)
I feel like I could write a novel about how awesome it was to work with Tammie and the fam at Desert Vines Events. I'll just highlight some of my favorite things and give you a TL;DR - five stars---no, ten stars. Would hire again in a heartbeat, no need to look anywhere else. - Little creative details everywhere!! Hire Desert Vines if you want someone who can truly help you create a DIY wedding on a shoestring budget. I can only imagine what she could do with a full budget! - Tammie let me take the lead, even when I proposed some crazy ideas. She never shot them down, either... she'd just go through the logistics to make sure we'd thought of everything. I liked the way, when I would suggest something kinda weird, she would very gently tell me what she thought and suggest alternatives---but if I pressed on, she would step back and let me do my thing. That meant a lot to me. It was good to have someone keeping me grounded, but also who would step back and let me take risks if I wanted to. - Immediately after hiring her, Tammie quickly identified and addressed any tasks that I had overlooked or was dragging my feet on, and took care of them completely. Her doing this gave me the space to focus on my favorite parts of event planning, and allowed me to let go of some aspects that I cared less about. All the tasks she took over for me proceeded to run seamlessly at the event; I didn't have to think twice about them. - Tammie was endlessly patient and kind, even when I got stressed out. She always found a way to look on the bright side of things, which I find to be a great quality in a planner. - It was genuinely fun to brainstorm ideas with her. She's so creative and craftsy, we were able to do so much with relatively little... everything looked soo beautiful in the end. - Her crew was so sweet and friendly, and always on the lookout for ways they could help during the event. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed working with Tammie and the Desert Vines crew. What a beautiful wedding we put together. <3 Highly recommend. Couldn't have done it without them.

Working with Ms. Brooks was actually a great experience, I was hesitant at first, because I normally don't work with people I don't know, but when sure opened the doors for that. Ms. Brooks did a desert table and goodie bags for my son birthday, the theme was Mickey mouse and she did a fantastic job, to the point I didn't even want my guess to touch the table, it was too beautiful to look at, and she threw in some extra treats which I was deeply appreciate. If you're looking for someone to turn a little idea into something 10x better than what you even thought it could be I would say go with Ms. Brooks, not only is she determined and detailed and attentive, she's sweet and caring and treat you more like family than a customer.
Service was exellent especially the design of the cake.My husband favorite thing is music and the cake is what made his day special because the designer put her hard work in decorating it as a piano.well done.

Kathryn helped me with my sister's wedding. A second marriage the bride was on an extremely tight budget. She had very specific ideas when it came to her flowers particularly as it pertain to her table arrangements. She insisted on artificial and wanted to keep them low. Kathryn not only had the design and color scheme within hours but she also presented ideas for the bouquet and head table all within budget! The bride loved her Ideas and the finish product was more than I could have hoped for! Kathryn really listened to what I wanted. She was easy to work with and I would not hesitate to recommend her to all my friends!

Roger was excellent. Our reception looked phenomenal. Roger was easy to work with, always honoring our wishes and making great suggestions. He also made a point of asking about how we were doing and how the rest of the planning was going and he shared his wealth of experience with us in areas outside of decorating. Without him, our wedding wouldn't have been half as good as it was.
I got engaged on May 2, 2012. From that day on, my mind, body and soul was in wedding planning mode. The first couple of months of wedding planning werent too bad because there really wasnt much that my fiancé and I felt like we needed to do besides selecting a date and finding a venue. Boy were we wrong. I mean, neither of us had planned a wedding before so we had no idea what was in store. It was when I stared to get mini migraines and panic attacks when thinking about vendors, décor, transportation, themes, food selection, guest list management, etc., that I knew that we needed help. My searches for wedding planners lead me to the Knot, WeddingWire and Craigslist. On September 25, 2012, I came across an ad on craigslist for Events by Jackie M. Even though I have always been skeptical of any craigslist ad, something told me to contact Jackie M. This was one of the best decisions of my life. From our first meeting with Jackie M, to our last meeting prior to my wedding day, Jackie was prepared, knowledgeable about her craft, open to hearing any and all ideas, forthcoming with her own ideas, but not too pushy or forceful about it, always smiling from ear to ear, super responsive with emails, texts, calls, aware of budgets and able to find affordable alternatives to capture her clients vision, organized beyond belief with notes and reminders of each meeting she has with her clients, able to attend as many vendor meetings as her clients would like her to. I could go on and on and on about how essential Jackie M was in making my wedding day and planning process up to that day stress free and everything I could ever dream it to be. My fiancé, Vlad, was very skeptical about getting a planner. He swore we didnt need one and that we could do it all on our own. I was shocked to see how quickly after our first meeting with Jackie his tune changed. Even though she didnt know it, she was able to convince him just by her attitude and honesty. Additionally, our wedding venue also offered a wedding coordinator. Jackie did not view this coordinator as competition, but rather made sure to work hand in hand with her to ensure that the venue stayed informed of all my many details and expectations. Jackies ability to work well with all my vendors was very impressive and also put my fiancé and I at ease. Never did we have to step in to any uncomfortable matters because Jackie already had it covered. On the day of the wedding, September 28, 2013, Jackie was outstanding. We had a total of 262 guests. Jackie was professional, but very personable to all of our guests. I had many family members tell me after the wedding how helpful Jackie was in helping them find their seats or keeping the guests informed about what was going on. Jackie also created our ceremony programs which were beautifully made and also decorated our ceremony pergola. So beautiful! She also put together our reception centerpieces as well as other décor surprises that she included for us. We loved them all! I highly recommend (and have already) Jackie M to anyone in need of a phenomenal wedding planner who is easy to get along with, open minded, readily available even though she has clients and weddings booked almost every weekend. She is also very affordable and willing to work with all wedding budgets. Events by Jackie M. is a wedding planning experience you cant afford to miss!

I have used Diva Duo Event Planning for a few events (birthdays, baptism and communion) and they have exceeded my expectations time after time. Their attention to detail and creativity is very impressive. The last event I had was my daughter's first communion and they assisted with the setup, decorations and cleaning up so that I was able to enjoy myself and interact with my company. I gave them the colors I wanted to use and they took care of the rest. The decorations and dessert bar were a hit. I can not say enough good things about Diva Duo Event Planning. They are very professional, organized, creative and fun to work with. I have even used Christina's makeup services for a couple of weddings that I came out in and received many compliments. I would definitely recommend their services and I will personally be using them in the future.
Stephanie Florczak planned my daughter's Great Gatsby themed wedding, and it was beautiful. from the invitations to the roaring 20's themed wedding decorations, to the finding the perfect site location and the rest of the vendors, my daughter and her new husband could not have asked for a better day. the wedding was on the smaller side guest wise, but Stephanie went all out and made the location look perfect. She was extremely professional and pleasant during the entire planning process, and we loved working with her. She was a dream, and she made this whole process a dream as well.
