Whether you are having a small get together for a few or a large gathering, be rest assured that your event will be amazing! Chef Michel is extremely professional, respectful, and friendly! He catered 2 events for our family and we were very pleased with both. The first was a party of nearly 100 people celebrating our son’s college graduation and daughter’s high school graduation. Our second event was a last minute post Thanksgiving weekend family get together for 12-15 people. Everything from the planning, to taste testing, and delivery was on point. Aside from the food being beyond mouth watering delicious, he coordinated with outside vendors to provide everything we needed to make the graduation event beautiful. He also provided on site chefs and wait staff, all of which were professional and attentive to details. They were flexible in their assigned roles and remained past the scheduled time to attend to our guests and clean up. Our home was left as clean as it was when they arrived! Chef Michel prides himself on delivering the best quality and freshest foods possible. Other than a few items that required pre-prep (like marinating / slow cooking...definitely try the roast pork and roast chicken) everything was prepared (cut, fried, cooked, assembled etc) on site. This truly makes a difference when you’re serving items like empanadas or tostones with avocado and shrimp (both highly recommended). Chef Michel is very creative. Whether you choose something from his printed menus, have other items in mind, or even have a special recipe that you want him to prepare...HE CAN DO IT! An important point to make about his catering style is that he is so proud of his creations that he wants everyone to be able to taste everything that he prepares. If you choose an appetizer and you have 100 people, you are not going to get 1 or 2 pieces per person or be charged by the piece, like most caterers. He will make sure you have more than enough for everyone. The same applies to your main course. We had leftovers for ourselves, even after our guests took food home. With all of this said, I truly feel that his prices are fair and reasonable! I could write more and would be more than happy to speak to anyone who has any questions, but I’ll end with...make sure you try his homemade ice creams (our favorites were coconut and pineapple), flan, and especially the sangria!
I hired Mitch to do a cooking class for 5 girls from 7-10 years old (surprise) . He was very enthusiastic, asked what the girls like the most to cook and offered a few choices of menu that I could pick from. He gave me a list all things that i need to buy for the menu ahead of time. on the day of the class, he arrived on time, played a game right at the door with girls to guess what was he doing in our home.Originally he set the time to be 2-3 hours but he stayed for 4 hours and did not rush anything in order to finish early and his price stayed the same! Mitch started teaching basics of how to hold a knife, how to cut and let all the girls using his knife and cutting tomatoes and onions for salsa, cutting bacon for Pasta Alfredo, etc. He mixed up cooking with fun jokes with girls and gave a history of the food or ingredients where it was appropriate. He was super patient with all the silly or serious questions from the girls. our menu was pasta Alfredo, soft and hard tacos with ground meat and eggless chocolate mouse for dessert. we had a great meal and leftover for the next day. Mitch cleaned up kitchen and utensil well during and after cooking so i did not have to clean at all. I have recommended him to my friends and would hire Mitch again.

We are just in the planning process for our cooking lesson so I can't speak to the cooking yet, but Joe has been great to be in communication with! Joe's been so flexible with menu, time frame, etc and very pleasant on the phone...can't wait for the lesson!

we had a large party that we had to find catering for last minute as the other person we had hired had bailed on us at the last second. abudanza eased our frustrations with the last person with there friendly attitude, punctuality and there ability to work with us in creating our menu. we were looking for a place that could do both children's and adult dishes for about 150 people, Abudanza express did just that! we had delicious burgers, hotdogs, and grinders for the kids and some of the best wings, pasta, and meat dishes i have ever tasted for the Adults! overall some of the best catering i have ever recieved from this website!
It's very rare to find a cooking teacher as patient, as smart, and as fun as Rosa Ross. We held a Peking Duck class at our home and enjoyed the experience immensely. Rosa took the time to explain both what to do and the underlying principles of why we were doing it -- something rare among teachers today. Our class had people of varied levels and we all were able to learn and participate. From basic knife skills to crafting the perfect dumpling to cleaning and curing the duck to some amazing cooking techniques and shortcuts, Rosa was there to help us along the way. And much laughter and delicious food ensued.
