I needed a Graphic Artist and Illustrator for my new magazine "SKII Magazine, There's No Limits To Reaching The Top" desperately. I put an ad on the website looking for someone with the knowledge and a list of qualified people were given to me to contact. After going through numerous contacts and found a lot of people to be quite disappointing, finally a list of 3 more people popped up on the website and one of the people happened to be Vance Klein. I contacted the woman on the list. Left a message and no returned call. I contacted the other male on the list and found him to be quite expensive and I truly didn't feel comfortable speaking to him. Finally I contacted Vance Klein. Vance Klein returned my call immediately. I was in a slump. I thought my magazine was ruined because I needed someone professional to do the graphic and designs for my magazine and Vance answered my prayers. He was soft spoken and made me feel at ease. Of course it helped with his experience too. Vance Klein saved my magazine. He is a great Graphic Artist and Designer. I have had nothing but raved reviews about my magazine in comparison to my very first issue of SKII Magazine which was done by a friend. Vance has been with me as a graphic Artist and Designer since September. I love his work. I love his experience of doing this type of job and I love the compassion he shows towards my magazine and towards my feelings as to how I want my magazine displayed.. Thank you for allowing me to express my feelings about Vance Klein. Everyone should be as great as Vance Klein. I would recommend him with high praises to anyone. Everyone should experience Vance kleins expertise. I do, and I'm willing to share him.

He has won grand prize and 1st place awards in the Homer Davenport International Political Cartoon Contests and won an award for Party/Retail Style at the 2004 NCN Convention. Keith Hartley is not only an absolutely AMAZING artist he is also an incredible person!! I have been lucky enough to run a fishing tournament for the past 10 years and he not only does a phenomenal job creating the logo for our t-shirts he also gives a fish carving to every winner. EVERYONE who gets one of these carvings is always in awe. In addition, I have 4 fish mounts of my own on my walls at home...and they are not only the coolest pieces of art we have they are hands down the nicest pieces and done with such intricate detail. You can literally feel the passion and dedication that goes into each and every piece that he does. If you have the opportunity to work with Keith I would recommend him 10000X over. He is a great person, great character and an absolutely incredible artist!!

Illustrator Since graduating from The School of Visual Arts in 1982 I've been a freelance illustrator specializing in editorial, advertising, educational and children's book illustration. Portrait Artist As an artist/illustrator, I've done many portraits of well known people. I specialize in capturing a likeness of adults and children. If you would like to hire a noted illustrator of many children's books to paint a portrait of your lovely children/family, then I'd be very pleased to discuss the assignment with you. Whether you want a head and shoulder portrait or a scene of your child/family doing their favorite activity, I will work closely with you to create something that you and your family will treasure. Teacher/Art Instructor I'm also a teacher, specializing in teaching young artist and adults how to draw and paint and compose a picture. I specialized in teaching oil painting, acrylics, watercolors, pastels as well as graphite/charcoal drawing. I'm available to give drawing and painting lessons individually and to groups. Portfolio Development For the past 9 years I've been teaching high school students drawing, painting, perspective, design and composition. Skills that help my students take their work to the next level and are necessary for a future as an artist. Also developing a strong, constructive, and creative collection of their original works of art through observation of still life and portraits for portfolios which are all essential for art college entry.

Personally, I am not trying to become a man of success, but a man of value. I have been told that I am a highly talented artist and graphic designer. I am humbled by the opportunities I have been given and just happy to be doing creative projects for a living. I have a wall mural business that's been going for about 5 years. I have 8 years of graphic design experience, and I have a lifetime of illustrating experience -- projects like cartoons, greeting cards and children's books. I do paintings, create murals, write poetry, sketch, do a lot of hand drawing, make music, and do design work every day, from big banners down to small logos. I love to bring people's ideas and concepts to life. I have proficient knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Macromedia Flash, Quark, Publisher, Microsoft Office, Photo Impact, Audacity and PowerPoint. I also have some knowledge in 3D Studio Max, Dreamweaver, Director, Fruity Loops, Pro Tools and AutoCAD.
