Carol O. says, "I started taking piano lessons with Isidora in late 2021 and chose to continue with her even after she left the music school through which I had initially connected with her. She has been a fantastic teacher for this adult beginner. I have appreciated her teaching methods, her encouragement and support and flexibility with my schedule changes over the years. I feel like Isidora was able to meet me where I was at the beginning and really helped to stretch me further than I thought I could go (e.g., playing in a recital). My life priorities have changed and so I am discontinuing lessons at this time, but not because I don't feel like I could still continue to grow and learn with Isidora. I hope I will be able to return to lessons with her in the future. In the meantime, I have the knowledge and skills to continue to play for my own enjoyment, which was my goal from the beginning of taking lessons. I am grateful for everything I've learned from Isidora and am so glad I found her!"See more

I am a singer songwriter who learned classical piano when I was younger and I was looking for a short term teacher to up my level in playing and composing. Mark and I spent three months working on different jazz progressions and soloing techniques, as well as analyzing theory so that I can use some of the techniques in my own songwriting. He is very personable and kind, making sure that I understood the concepts for each class, and really broke things down into strategies that are useful for me. I now have a lot of new progressions and materials to pull inspiration from and feeling more confident in my grasp of jazz theory. I highly recommend Mark as a teacher! Thank you Mark!"See more
