Hi! I’m Ms. Renée Yerger, and I love teaching music to any age person. I have a BS in Music Ed and several post grad credits, as well as several awards for teaching music: Best of 2018 on Lessons.com, Worldwide Who’s Who VIP, Social Book Global Who’s Who Diamond Professional if the Year 2013-2014, National Association of Professional Women - Woman of the Year for 2011-2012, presently member in good standing for Music Teacher’s National Association, Member of Delta Omicron Music Fraternity. I have also taught as a Music for Young Children Teacher and have had Four 7-9 year olds that were U.S. finalists in their International MYC Composition Contests. I love to see the “lightbulbs go on” when teaching! I am in the 2% of folks who love what they do for a living! 😊🎶🎹🎤. Presently I am teaching virtually through FaceTime or Zoom. We recently had our very first virtual Recital, and it was great! Each student peaked in their performance, and various ones received trophies for Composition/Improvisation, Most Advanced Piano, and Most Improved. Medals were given for Public Performance, and Happiest Player as well. I have a Composer Bucks Incentive program where students can earn Composer Bucks for practice, telling me facts from The Piano Explorer Magazine, Practice, and being able to execute well in various parts of the lesson. Then they can redeem their Composer Bucks in the CB Store that I have here at the studio! 😄. I teach towards each student’s individual learning style and desire to help them accomplish their musical goals. Love, love the opportunity to nurture each student’s abilities!! I also love to bring out the artistry in each person’s playing/singing/composing. I welcome a trial lesson to see if it is a good fit before starting lessons.
For in-person lessons, the following protocols must be observed:
1. If you have been exposed to Covid-19, or have it, or a member of your family has been exposed to it or has it, you must quarantine for 2 weeks and take virtual lessons during that time. If well, wear a good fitting mask, remove shoes once inside the door, but keep socks on. You may use your own hand sanitizer or mine or wash your hands before entering the studio. Social distance if a voice student. I will always wear a mask if closer than 6 feet from you, as well as gloves. Everything will be sanitized in the studio by a natural spray that kills 99.9% of germs and/or by a UV wand between students.See more
