My husband and I used Thumbtack to locate Marcia Hursh. She has begun a schedule of personal training sessions for each of us, coming to our homes for back to back 1-hour sessions on Sundays. We're impressed with her training and experience, as well as her professionalism and enthusiasm. She's personalized her services to accommodate our individual goals, and is focused on helping us achieve them. She's on time, brings additional equipment that helps with our workouts, and provides valuable recommendations for items to consider and things that we can do between sessions. Workouts are challenging and I love them! I have a love/hate relationship with pyramids and pull offs. I like having the monthly check ins to see where I am at with weight/body fat and what I've been eating. Trent is invested in my goals and keeps me motivated!!
Travis is by far the best trainer I've ever had (and I've had 4). He always tailored his workouts to my goals. He kicks your butt and also keeps you conscious of your eating habits/diet. Unfortunately, I moved away from the area but can't recommend him enough!
Before I met Tania I was in shape I didnt really know what in shape was until I worked out with her. Almost immediately I realized that being able to run 3 miles did not, in fact, mean that I was in shape. She eased me into types of workouts that I had never been familiar with and that worked much better than a treadmill. I am proud to say that with her backing and encouragement I have finished numerous 5K obstacle courses, the Mens Heath Urbanathalon, and feel better in my skin than I ever have. Before I started working with Steve he did a 2 hour evaluation by taking body measurements, testing my flexibility and strength. Based on those results, Steve tailored my fitness program just for my needs. I love the fact that Steve is a multi-faceted instructor and my workouts can vary based on how I feel that day. We have incorporated Qi-Gong, Yoga, Cardio, Strength Training and Massage into our sessions. His positive attitude and great stories make our sessions fly!
I have worked out at many different gyms and bootcamps always looking to achieve the same goal to Lose fat build lean muscle. It wasn't until I met Devon that I actually began to make real progress to my goal. She is truly great at what she does. She checks in with multiple times a week to make sure I am on track with my nutrition goals in addition to my training with her. Every time we train its something new, which I really enjoy beacuse it never gets boring. She incorporates parts of boxing, cardio, weight training and conditioning to every session. I am going to be walking down the aisle Aug 30th for my big day, and my major focus area has been my upper body and arms. I have toned and lost inches in my arms/chest in just 2 months. Devon knows when to push me. shes encouraging when she sees me trying to master a new workout and gives me the confidence to try hard and attempt new things I never would have done or attempted on my own.
More than just a trainer, Gary is a life changer! He's truly been a partner on my journey to get fit and healthy. Unlike the big gym trainers, Gary engineered a program for me at a pace that provides results without inflicting harm. Each session I'm improving and my positive addiction to exercising keeps growing. I feel comfortable with Gary due to his education and years of experience as a trainer. He's a very genuine, gentle, like-able person and his gym is consistently immaculate (very important!). Every session begins with a blood pressure check and he is very attentive to any medical issues or concerns while I'm exercising. Working one on one with him is undeniably the best avenue to get fit. He's so much more than a trainer, he's a lifestyle coach, an inspiration and true friend on this journey. I recommend his expertise wholeheartedly. I'm so glad I did this for myself. I work full time and have twin one year old boys. At most times I am running around like a headless chicken. I look forward to my workouts three times a week with Blair. Most days that happens anywhere between 8pm and 9:00pm in the night! He is working hard to make sure that I am on track and is so supportive. I see a difference and my goal is too lose my 40-50 pregnancy pounds from carrying the twins. I can already tell there is a difference. He is a great guy! Super nice and always willing to try new things to push the goals.
We are like the perfect storm, alike in so many ways (not all the best ways), with that said, I have worked out with many trainers in the past and Matt is no holds barred. he constantly thinks outside the box and reinvents workouts. Because of him I can do a ten minute plank and my stamina is better than it has been. He will train boxing, yoga, cardio, weight training, obstacle courses etc., there is no limit. He will train outside, inside and side ways :). He trains in a gym, in a school yard and at a friends house. He pushes you and does not kiss your butt so you know when you did well. He really is the perfect trainer for me. His ultimate goal is to make you the best athlete you can be. He tailor's workouts to each individual person and will tone them down if he sees the need to.. His competitive spirit i thrive on.and tries to be as flexible with his hours as possible. I strongly encourage anyone who truly likes to work out and wants intensity to hire him.
After my first class with Alberto, just about a year ago, I was hooked. The workouts are constantly changing, challenging and engaging. I noticed results, not only physically, but was re-introduced to to a positive mindset shortly after starting the program. Alberto keeps us motivated both on and off the mats.
