Lady Rissa did a great job for us. We did a very simple ceremony with a handfasting and with only us present. She was available with only a week notice and was very responsive with messages. She was professional and kind. She is a very sweet woman.

Lady Rissa wrote a lovely ceremony for our wedding. With nerdy references, a bit of humor, and a large dose of sweetness, she hit exactly the tone we wanted. She even rolled with it when the groom and I got lost in a fit of giggles. It felt personal and real, not at all formulaic or rehearsed. She was prompt in all communications, more than reasonable in her pricing, and generally just made our big day pleasant and easier.

Amazing!!!!! Felt like I knew her for years and she made us feel very comfortable. I recommend her for any style ceremony. My Husband and I had a private ceremony (just us) at a local park. Quick and stress free. We will have a vow renewal in the next few years and will definitely want Lady Rissa to be present again.

From the discovery call to the wave goodbye, our experience with Lady Rissa was absolutely phenomenal! 😃
We initially reached out to her with less than a week to spare/prepare, and with even less of an idea of how we wanted our ceremony to go. 🤯
She took the slightest of hints to work with and literally fairy-god-mothered us through curating a handfasting ceremony which suited our needs perfectly. We also had a very limited budget overall to work with and her services are affordable + well worth the investment. 👍🏼
Her energy and delivery elevated our location (backyard) to what felt like one magical moment after another. Everything else fell away that existed outside the circle. We truly felt blessed! 😌🙏🏽

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually charge 200.00 with a non refundable 100.00 deposit.
With gas prices being what they are, if you live an hour or more from me there will be an up-charge of from 50.00 to 75.00.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The customer contacts me, I give them my rates and see if the couple feels comfortable with me. If they decide to go forward with me, I collect a 100.00 non-refundable deposit, and we schedule their consultation. We chat about what kind of wedding/ceremony they want.
I seem to be the Queen of non-traditional, last minute, and themed weddings.
Then we get more specific and nail the details down. I usually call a week before to see if anything has changed or if there are any more questions they or I need answered.

Ive been a Minister since 2006, and a I was a Justice of The Peace in Middletown, CT for 16 years.
