This was my first time hiring a graphic/ logo designer. The responsiveness of the team was really great. I didn’t have to wait more than an hour for a response on updates on my logo, or revisions. My logo did come out great and we can’t wait to build our brand off of it

I requested 5 Snapback caps to be customized with an embroidered patch of logo/design of my own and it came out better than I actually expected. I absolutely love how the stitching looks like its apart of the cap. The every letter, circle, and star is perfect. Professionally done!! I love it!! The Customer Service was great as well. He responded immediately to every message since I placed my order & was polite and attentive when I picked up my order. I will definitely be working with this company again.

It is rare when you find someone who truly gets who you are, and can then express it for you through graphic design. His eye is impeccable and his level of taste is unmatched. He is the most talented designer and artist I have worked with and look forward to working with him on many more projects in the future.”

I have been trying to get a logo designed for my company for about a year and a half now and didn't know what to do. Thankfully, i got in touch with this company and they changed everything for me. All i had to do was show and tell them the design i had in mind and they brung it to life! Other designers over charged for logo design like for over $1000, and other were cheap but so was their quality. Studio Fun House is not only affordable, they listen, they sketch out different designs to help you and they won't try to play you in to spending more money than you need to. Anytime my brand ever needs something designed, i'm coming back to Studio Fun House.

I asked Maddie to design a canvas print for my boyfriend for his birthday. My idea was really abstract and Maddie really found a way to bring my idea to life. She worked with me every step of the way, sharing drafts and proofs of the design to ensure that it was everything I wanted. She even helped set me up with a printing service and gave me sizing and framing guidance and recommendations. She is very thorough, incredibly creative and a true pleasure to work with. I would absolutely recommend her skills to anyone and look forward to working with her on other projects in the future.

Working with Dana was amazing. She helped me set up my business straight from the beginning. She created my logo and helped me create a look for my business on Instagram and Facebook. She ran a Facebook ad for me and got me a bunch of calls and even put me on google search. I've worked with her since then to create my letter head, estimate sheets, t-shirts, and even a sign for the back of my truck. She's awesome and will work with you for whatever you need!

    Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

What makes a good logo design?

A good logo is an easily identifiable, memorable image that represents your brand. A good logo design aligns with your business model and expresses your company’s core values. A good logo design is simple, appealing, and easy for customers and viewers to quickly process. Some of the key components of a great logo are type, color palette and design. The scale, font and arrangement of the text you select will all make a difference in the feel and representation of your brand. A graphic designer will help you home in on the colors that best represent your identity and help you keep the color palette simple. The design of your logo includes the shapes you select and the way the color and type are arranged together. Investing in the services of a professional to create your logo design is likely a smart investment for any size business. Nationally, the average price range for a logo designer ranges from $170 to $250.

How much does it cost to create a logo?

Logo design is an important part of your company’s brand development. More than an image with text and color, a logo communicates the tone and personality of your company to your potential customers. Hiring a graphic designer with an appealing portfolio and quality reviews is a solid start to creating a winning logo design. The cost to create a logo can depend on how in-depth the marketing and design services you request are. Designers can create one logo in multiple formats (horizontal, vertical, etc.) to fit both your website and social media platforms, they can create a variety of designs for clients to select from, or they can create multiple logos for one client who needs branding for more than one venture. Logos may be text-only, text and image, or image-only. Many designers and design firms charge by the hour for their services, while other companies offer packages bundled with design services. Here are some examples of cost:

    • National average cost to hire a logo designer: $170-$250.
    • Average hourly rate for a freelance marketing consultant: about $150.
    • Tiered pricing for logo design packages from one firm:
      • Package One: $200 for three logo concepts, three rounds of revision, and a variety of format and color end designs.
      • Package Two: $350 for 10 logo concepts, unlimited rounds of revision, and a variety of format and color end designs.
      • Package Three: $550 for everything included in the Package Two, plus business card design, letterhead design, social media graphics and an email signature.
      • Package Four: $850 for everything in the Package Three, plus custom brand guidelines, which outline a strategy for creating a consistent branding in the client’s business.
Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
