Introduction: I'm JJ, an in-home, private coach working with individuals or small groups around the Westchester, NY and Southern CT areas. My primary focus during sessions on developing quality movement and challenging your body to improve. My focus when we're done, is for you to feel ready to take on the rest of your day/week with what you've learned as well as action steps to help you get a little better than you were yesterday. I've been a certified trainer & nutrition coach since 2015 and after working with hundreds of people, performing thousands of sessions, two things have stood out to me; 1. We don't want to be "skinny" or "fit" if it comes at the cost of feeling good and being healthy. 2. Over time, restrictive diets and overly-intense workouts don't help us as much as they hurt us. Literally and figuratively. I guide my clients to their physical goals in a sustainable way that doesn't cost them their health. No crash diets, no hours of cardio. Don’t get it confused, we NEED to do the work - but we need to do the work that will give us real results that last. Since my clients have ranged in age from 10 to 70 years old, I have a breadth of experience with back pain, hip injuries, pre/post natal women & various other concerns regarding exercise that could pop up over a lifetime. Before starting with anyone, I want to make sure we're a good fit for each-other with a complimentary 20min strategy call. From there, I offer in-person coaching (travel to you), virtual sessions, and online coaching - whatever works best for you!   • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    First coaching call & session are always free. In-person, one-hour session pricing varies depending on location. Same prices for one or two people; Train with a friend and cut your cost in half! Discounts for buying a package of sessions up front AND for Stamford locals with a gym or space to train. Virtual sessions also available. Online coaching ranges from $100-$250 per month depending on your needs.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    1. Free coaching call to discuss needs, goals, and expectations. 2. Free session to assess how well you move, answer any questions, and discuss in more depth your movement/nutrition goals. 3. Determine schedule for both sessions and individual training/homework to keep us accountable to the process. 4. Identify 1-3 habits than can act as small, attainable wins. 5. Adjust program & nutrition goals every 2-6 weeks (as needed). 6. Stack habits and improvements over time to deliver sustainable progress.

    NASM Personal Trainer since 2015 Precision Nutrition Lvl1 Coach 300+ hours of in-house education from a leading wellness company Animal Flow Certified Instructor Pre/Post Natal Certification Kettlebell Training Lvl1 Certification
