We are a jazz quartet consisting of piano, upright bass, tenor saxophone (or other horn), and drums, with no vocals. We play straight-ahead jazz, such as Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, John Coltrane, etc. A professional-level singer can be added on request. This quartet was incredible! We hired them for our cocktail hour after researching many MANY jazz bands. People had a blast and kept complimenting them. The music was cool, classy, and so much fun! Our donors really enjoyed the live music provided by Kim Reynolds Quartet for our Speakeasy-themed event. They were flexible with a delayed start time as donors moved from an upstairs portion of the event down to the reception and even played a little extra when guests were still trickling out. They were completely self sufficient for set up and brought all the equipment/cables, worked with our non-profit budget, and were the highlight of the evening!
