Introduction: We are a jazz quartet consisting of piano, upright bass, tenor saxophone (or other horn), and drums, with no vocals. We play straight-ahead jazz, such as Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, John Coltrane, etc. A professional-level singer can be added on request. A fantastic experience! Kim worked with us when the restaurant wouldn't. Yook a risk on a street performance in Washington DC, in mid December and it turned out just perfect! The music was awesome, the surprise complete! Kim was responsive with lots of prevent communication to work through issues and get it right. He knocked it out of the park. Highly recommend him for his artistry and quality. Thank you Kim for making our Anniversary very special!

Our donors really enjoyed the live music provided by Kim Reynolds Quartet for our Speakeasy-themed event. They were flexible with a delayed start time as donors moved from an upstairs portion of the event down to the reception and even played a little extra when guests were still trickling out. They were completely self sufficient for set up and brought all the equipment/cables, worked with our non-profit budget, and were the highlight of the evening!

We hired Kim's trio for our jazz soiree and they were excellent! Kim let us know a few days prior to the event that he couldn't make it, and gave us the option of canceling or having the trio w/ another pianist playing in his stead. We could have gotten another band altogether (three replied to our request on Thumbtack), but we went w/ his option of the substitute pianist and could not have been happier. The trio was fabulous, attendees from the young to the not so young loved all the tunes, and everyone had the best time. We are definitely putting Kim and his trio or quartet on our slate of events for 2018. 5 Oct 17 Update: Rather than waiting until next year, we hired Kim's trio to play at our holiday party this December to make it extra special. :-)
