The food and service provided by Chef Robert of Black Label were outstanding. It was our 31st anniversary, and the chef we had booked through another platform had suddenly without warning canceled three hours before the event. Chef Robert responded to my outreach immediately, and in fifteen minutes of conversation by phone, we hashed out a menu and he shopped, arrived and cooked within a few hours of our talking. He served our party of 4 a wonderful meal with a trio of appetizers, a delicious salad course with Barrata, toasted nuts (so yummy), a full dinner, and a lovely dessert. All cooked right in my kitchen and served to us within hours of another chef having canceled that afternoon ! Black Label and Chef Robert saved our elegant evening we planned along with my friends and husband and cooked a splendid, delicious meal in my kitchen that included a tender and delectable filet mignon, and the absolute best empanada we all agreed we ever had eaten. The empanadas were served with a delicious consume as well as a spicy dipping sauce. Oh my! Heaven in my mouth. The crust was light and crispy . The filling of the empanada was tasty and the meat mixture juicy. We still have some leftovers. I can not wait to dive in today! How the chef presented and described his food was a wonderful part of the experience as well . After cooking and serving us for several hours the chef also cleaned up the kitchen entirely and left us to savor the wonderful, elegant experience we had enjoyed. Feast on the photos attached. Yes, it was all as delicious as it looks!

Chef Robert and Chef Greg were exceptional! The entire experience was seamless from start to finish... Brooke made planning our menu via text incredibly easy, even with multiple dietary restrictions, and the chefs brought everything to life in our airbnb for the first night of our company's first retreat. It made the evening feel incredibly special!!
The food was absolutely delicious...everyone was asking for the recipes! It was healthy, beautifully presented, and the portions were so generous that we're excited to enjoy the leftovers all week. Chef Robert and Chef Greg were wonderful company, and we loved gathering around the lazy Susan filled with vibrant, colorful, and flavorful dishes. It was the perfect way to kick off our retreat, and we couldn't recommend them more highly!

Robert was wonderful and prepared a beautiful and tasty set of nibbles for an elevated game night. Everyone loved the food and he prepared the absolute best cocktail shrimp we’ve ever had. Every dish had Robert’s spin and you could tell how much care he put in to making each dish special and elevated with his own touch. Would definitely use him and his team again.

An amazing ride to Mt. Vernon and back with the best car and the most professional driver. He was here on time, made the ride pleasant and comfortable. Chef Rob and Chef Greg were absolutely incredible and made our Dungeons & Dragons event unforgettable. The curated menu was thoughtful, creative, and perfectly suited to the experience. They clearly put so much care into every detail.
Every dish was outstanding, but what impressed me most was the attention they gave to everyone in our party. We had a vegan, a vegetarian, and a pescatarian, and each person was served meals that were just as intentional, flavorful, and exciting as everyone else’s. It never felt like anyone was getting an afterthought.
Their passion for cooking shines through in every plate, and it’s obvious they genuinely love creating memorable experiences through food. They didn’t just cater our event. They became part of it and added to the magic of the night. I can’t recommend Chef Rob and his staff, chef Greg, highly enough!
