FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wanted to get to the root of what was bothering people. The central nervous system is responsible for what happens in our system and this affects us physically, emotionally, and mentally. Instead of focusing on the symptoms, I wanted to get to the root!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most people who come are experiencing some form of physical symptoms, whether it is back or neck pain, shoulder pain, migraines, TMJ, sleep challenges, or anxiety. These symptoms are usually surface signs for some underlying structural or energetic imbalance in the body. As we work on the body and connect what is happening in the body to thoughts patterns, ways of thinking, postural issues, etc.. the symptoms tend to dissipate.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I think that if you respond well to things like yoga, meditation, and massage, then other types of bodywork can be really helpful. Also, if you notice the physical effects of stress in your body, have tried massage or different kinds of exercise and just don't feel like that has quite addressed it the pain or tension, then this type of bodywork can get to the underlying symptoms by bringing a sense of calm to the nervous system.
