- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually price my services at a fixed rate, with the exception of moving gigs, because those can often become a little more involved. The more details you can provide up front, the easier it is for me to quote you a fair rate, because in the end we both just want to get the job done.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to talk with the customer up front to get all the details so that there aren't any surprises when I arrive. Scoping out the work required is key to be sure I can show up prepared and ready for a smooth and easy job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've moved 4 times on my own with a Uhaul truck, and have helped numerous friends move in the city. I've been doing this as an official side-gig on the side for 18 months now and have completed over 120 moving and assembly jobs.
