I appreciate that Delta Appliances Repair Services responded quickly to my request and was willing to come in the evening to accommodate my schedule. The technician was polite, respectful, and professional in his interactions. Unfortunately, the overall service experience was very disappointing. Communication before the appointment was difficult, and much of the discussion focused on payment rather than diagnosing or resolving the issue. The technician repeatedly emphasized that I would be responsible for the labor cost even if the repair did not fix the problem. During the repair, I was told that the job was more difficult than expected and that it was essentially a two-person job, which raised concerns about additional costs and whether the technician was familiar with this particular GE washer model. The drain pump was installed, but the washer was not restored to working condition. Prior to the repair, the washer had a drainage issue but was not making the loud mechanical noises it made after the service visit. After the technician tested the machine, it became unusable and appeared unsafe to operate. As a result, I am now left with a washer that no longer functions and will likely need to be replaced. I was also disappointed when the technician suggested that the model and serial number information had not been provided clearly. The model number, serial number, and photographs were included in my original Thumbtack request. While I appreciate the technician’s responsiveness and willingness to come out on short notice, I cannot recommend this service based on my experience. The repair did not resolve the issue, the machine was left in worse condition than before the visit, and I do not feel confident that the appliance was properly reassembled.
