Three days before the funeral, Leo informed me that my “pending amount” was suddenly $1,024.84 and instructed me to pay $750 directly to the driver by cash, Zelle, or Venmo, with the remainder charged to my card. They later charged my American Express another $274.28.
On the funeral morning, the driver arrived at my sister’s home demanding his $750 from anyone who would pay him. He repeatedly announced there was a “payment dispute” to my grieving mother, sister, and husband. I then spent approximately 35 minutes across three calls arguing with Leo while I should have been finishing my father’s photographs and memorial display.
The vehicle provided was an older Lincoln stretch limousine with black grating attached along both sides. Once I reached the funeral home, I fired the driver. The cemetery trip, family meal, and return transportation were never provided. I still sent him $280 for the limited service performed.
This company turned my father’s funeral transportation into a public payment confrontation and took irreplaceable time from honoring him. I would never hire or recommend them.
