- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My Undergraduate Economics work at McDaniel College has fostered my advancement in mathematical understanding. Additionally I work in Finance which requires constant involvement with data analysis.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been encouraged in mathematics but was not aware of the possibilities it presented. It was actually an accident that I became involved in tutoring. I was looking for a job over the summer of 2012 and my mother suggested tutoring for local students. I reached out to the community, began tutoring and quickly discovered its rewarding outcomes.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Consider the needs of the student when approaching the tutor.
