A few weeks into planning my Boston-based wedding I realized, as many do, that it was more work than I had bargained for. I had never considered hiring a wedding planner but I found Stephanie and Six Twenty Events, who worked with me (and my budget!) to pull off what would become... the most memorable day of my life. I cannot say enough about my experience working with Stephanie and her team- they took our dream and made it a reality. It was so nice to have the support of someone as professional, courteous, and attentive as she was. Having never planned a big scale event before, the creativity, insight and expertise Six Twenty Events brought to my wedding was completely invaluable. They asked me things that I had never even thought about and those details turned out to make all the difference (my husband still tries to take the credit for some of it, but I know the truth!). To this day Stephanie remains a dear friend of mine, she is so passionate about what she does and it shines through in her ability to create an experience for everyone to remember. I would highly recommend her to anyone who might be toying with the idea of hiring an event planner. Thank you again to Stephanie and her team for everything!

I hired Stephanie to help me plan my parents' 30th wedding anniversary. To be honest, I've never hired an event planner so I don't really have a comparison. I also don't plan events (at least not big ones). Since I wanted to make sure this event was perfect, I decided to hire someone who knew what they were doing. From the start, Stephanie was professional, courteous, and informative. Before coming up with a plan, she listened intently as I described my parents and what I thought would make this anniversary party perfect for them. She asked a lot of questions and I felt like she really got a good idea of what I was looking for before starting to share some suggestions. She had a lot of great ideas right off the bat and brought up aspects of the party that I had not even considered. In the run up to the party, Stephanie stayed in close contact and was always available to chat or answer my questions. That was probably one of the best parts of working with Stephanie - the communication. On the day of the party, I thought I'd be running around like crazy and worrying about all of the details. Luckily, I didn't have to do that! Stephanie handled the logistics of vendors and made sure everything was going as planned. She even dealt really well with my family, who can be a little overwhelming at times. Overall, the party was amazing and my parents were overjoyed - not just because so many of their loved ones showed up, but because the whole party really captured their personality and love. It was really amazing. Stephanie is a creative planner who is organized and stays on top of things. I'm not sure if I'll be throwing any other parties in the future, but if I do, I know exactly who I'll be calling!

Stephanie did an excellent job planning and executing my dream wedding this summer in Virginia. I knew I was not going to be able to handle everything on my own, so I was lucky to find Stephanie to help us through what could have been a stressful process! We were so thankful to have her to guide us through every step of the way, bringing our attention to small aspects that we may not have even thought of on our own. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, even down to the monogrammed napkins! On the day of the event, when nerves were running high, she kept both me and my husband on track and did a fantastic job making sure everyone/everything was where it needed to be. I am not sure what we would have done without her! I would certainly use Stephanie for future events, as her creative and enthusiastic approach to things made her so easy (not to mention fun) to work with!

My Husband and I couldn’t have been happier with our decision to not only bring on a coordinator to help leading up to our Wedding, but to specifically work with Stephanie and her team at Six-Twenty Events. We were ideally looking for a day-of coordinator, but decided to move forward with Stephanie with more of a month-of and somebody to consult with throughout. From the moment we had our first meeting I felt at ease. Stephanie was my go-to throughout our wedding planning process on all things related to etiquette, somebody to bounce ideas off of, coordination and more. In the weeks leading up to our Wedding, Stephanie really took over a lot of the coordination with our vendors and ensured everything was seamless on our big day. The day-of, Stephanie and her team were totally on top of things and if anything went wrong, we had no idea. We even forgot to have milk for our two young ring bearers and she sent somebody to head down the street to get something as to avoid a meltdown. Her teams willingness to do whatever it took to make our day special from the most minor to the most important details did not go unnoticed. Multiple guests and our parents even called out how sweet Stephanie and her team were and saw the value in having Six-Twenty Events there throughout the day. I would definitely recommend Six-Twenty Events to all future brides and anybody looking to plan a seamless event!

Stephanie Moran was an exceptional event planner. She not only coordinated our wedding event but also our baby shower for our twins. She had wonderful ideas for our budget, and was always available for questions along the way. I'd highly recommend her to plan any event.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    Because every couple, every wedding and every event is unique, my packages are bespoke for each of my clients. The fee will be determined by the services, size and complexity of the wedding or event.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I am a Certified Independent Event Planner (CIEP) and Certified Wedding Planner (CWP) by the Wedding and Event Institute and approved by the International Special Events Society (ISES). I also attend at least two event industry conferences or educational meetings per year to stay up on the latest developments.
