Introduction: My name is Cornelius Yoko and I train my clients in NW Washington DC at Fit360DC(Mt.Pleasant neighborhood). I am fully vaccinated. I am certified by National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). I have personal training and group personal training Specialist certifications. I am also a boxing instructor. I am very capable and willing to help my clients achieve their fitness goals. I will also show my clients valuable exercise techniques that can be incorporated into their lifestyle for years to come. These are some of the services I provide: PROGRAM DESIGN: I can design a training program tailored to your own needs and goals. Get a customized training program - This will include- sets, reps, intensity, and training movement descriptions. WEIGHT LOSS: I will show you how to combine the right exercises and clean diet to help you get to your weight loss goal. BOXING TRAINING: I will show you a quick introduction into the sport of boxing. I offer group and one-on-one sessions to learn the fundamentals of boxing. The sessions include conditioning, pad work, sparring, correct stance, basic punches, heavy bags, defensive and offensive techniques. STRENGTH TRAINING/CORE TRAINING/MOBILITY: Combination of weight lifting and body-weight exercises. I can help you achieve your fitness goals. Build strength, build muscle mass, burn calories more efficiently and build stronger core. BODY SCULPTING: Combination of strength training, aerobic activity and proper stretching with proper nutrition will help you increase in lean muscle and burn fat. CARDIOVASCULAR CONDITIONING: I will help you design specific high intensity exercises that will you burn fat more effectively, improve cardiovascular conditioning, and performance. SPORT-SPECIFIC TRAINING: I Will show you how to develop core strength, explosiveness, coordination and timing, you will see noticeable improvement in sports such as football, climbing, baseball. BOOT CAMP: By combining high-intense fat blasting cardio with hard core strength training and military moves, you will get that strong sexy body. TRACKING RESULT: I will continually monitor and adjust your program. We can continually tailor your program so that you are getting what you need to achieve your goals. ONGOING TRAINING: I will show you valuable techniques that can be incorporated into your lifestyle for years to come.

Constructs a very efficient workout with intent! Well worth the money, and time. I’ve always been good about going to the gym on my own, but since Covid started, I had not heavy lifted since February. 11 months later, I hired him as my personal trainer and he gave me a better workout than I could ever give myself. I’m able to go from set to set in a circuit without wait time, and he coaches me on my form while doing so. Ask him to show you boxing technique and boxing workouts!

I had gotten into exercising at home during the pandemic, and once I was vaccinated I was interested in seeking a professional's help to observe how I was doing, since I had mostly been watching videos online. Cornelius was so helpful in correcting my form in all sorts of ways, and really setting me up to be more successful when I go back to training by myself. I felt like the investment was totally worth it and he was really great about introducing me to new things in the gym and helping me feel more comfortable with machines and equipment I had never used before. I'd definitely recommend him. He knows his stuff and he is really supportive to work with!

Yoko is awesome. I do not “enjoy “ working out and Yoko makes every training session different and effective. It’s been 6 weeks and I feel stronger. I’m going to keep it going...snd I highly recommend.

I’ve started training with Yoko Fitness (Cornelius) at the beginning of August and he has been more than accommodating with my needs and goals. He has a charming personality and takes into account your strength for the day. Some days I’m tired and he still pushes me but not too much. I have started to notice some results in my muscle strength and I attribute it to Yoko Fitness.

He is a great personal trainer, he challenges me every time I work out. I never feel rushed and he takes time to explain what I'm doing, if my form is right, and how to modify a workout. I am still working with him and I would highly recommend if you are looking for some training!

    I charge $80 per hour and session is one hour in length. The following are the packages I offer: 7 sessions 13 sessions 26 sessions 39 sessions 52 sessions

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I first ask the customer for his/her goals and obtain basic information. I will help the new customer set realistic goals. I will have the customer do a movement analysis to see any areas that are weak, tight, or areas of imbalance. With this assessment, I will give the new customer some specific recommendations to avoid future injuries and to work on areas you are interested in improving.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    Education and training are a very important part of what I do everyday. I am Certified by NASM and I am always taking courses, online training and attending workshops.
