Joshua is patient, kind and brings with him a thoughtful approach to teaching young people the piano. My son was reluctant to having formal piano lessons (similar to Joshua, my son was self teaching himself). But he has responded favorably to having Joshua as a teacher/coach. Kudos Josh.

Joshua has been a superior teacher. His time and effort both during the lessons and between them has been instrumental in my appreciation of the piano. Though I played for a number of years, I haven't touched a piano in almost 15 years. Joshua has found music and a training method that really appeal to me, making learning the piano (again) a great joy. I would recommend him to anyone looking to rekindle their appreciation for music.

Joshua has been teaching our 11 year old boy piano for the past summer. He's been easy to schedule, is punctual and genial. Most important, our guy has fun with Joshua who is patient yet firm, is taught improvisation and basic theory, is motivated to practice on his own, and shows real progress.

We have been taking lessons with Joshua since October and we have been very impressed. My 17 year old son, 13 year old daughter, and myself (late 40s) are all taking lessons. Joshua is able to work with each one of us in a different way utilizing both different music and our own unique learning styles. We all feel as if we are progressing and truly enjoying the experience. I highly recommend Joshua.
