- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process is set up for you to be as successful as possible. I start out with an introductory session to collect information from you and ask questions about your goals, past experiences, etc., so I can best serve you. Sessions can be done in person, via phone, or video chat. I will help you set realistic goals and guide you through making sustainable, healthy lifestyle changes as well as guide you through an individual nutrition plan based on your goals and current lifestyle. We will have a scheduled check-in every week where we can make changes to your plan based on your progress or barriers.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's Degree in Health Promotion and am a Master Certified Health Education Specialist, which makes me uniquely qualified to help people make sustainable, healthy lifestyle changes. I am an American College of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer and I have a minor in strength and conditioning. I have been personal training, doing fitness assessments, and increasing nutritional knowledge for over 10 years. I attend multiple professional conferences every year to stay current on all relevant information, from nutrition to exercise to chronic disease management.
