- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I worked for an executive who had five, yes five, assistants. I was his scheduler responsible for meetings and events. He constantly relied on his staff for personal errands and they'd always complain, but I loved getting away from the office to pick up dry cleaning or lunch. Making sure he remembered his doctor appointments and they were scheduled. I felt like a very valuable part of his team both personally and professionally.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I spend a lot of time grocery/gift shopping. That's closely followed by organization projects. I prepare a variety of reports, mostly billing. I have a passion for cooking and event planning. I hope to do a lot of that this summer working with vacation renters.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I have a guest staying in the area for an extended business trip. His wife and 3 children are coming into town for a week to celebrate the 4th of July and one of his kid's birthday. I helped him pull together a week long list of family friendly trips and activities. I love creating more free time for people to do what they enjoy.
