Introduction: My background and training is extensive. I was born and grew up in Rome. I come from a family of hairdressers. My mother owned two beauty salons in Rome. I was working in a salon as early as my teens. In my early twenties, I moved to Milan to work in a very upscale salon. It is there, that i really honed my hair cutting and styling craft. While there, I also had the opportunity to work the fashion runways of Paris as top designers would call us to create runway hair fashions.
I then moved to the United States in 1987 bringing with me my passion for top hair designs and style. I now own my own namesake salon in Wilmington, DE., where I teach the style of hairdressing that I learned during the span of my career. I cater to my clients from Tuesday to Fridays and every other Saturday.
I love the transformation process and when clients are satisfied with the work I've performed. There is nothing better than seeing a huge smile upon a client's face when you present their new hairstyle.
