I selected this company to do my head-shots for Real Estate marketing. Their website shows beautiful shots with edited, clean photos. I was clear I wanted my photos photo-shopped and even asked for a before and after picture of a previous client prior to booking which was supplied and impressed me. My original budget was $150. I ended up adding makeup and 3 additional pictures bring my grand total to over $400. (For one hour makeup and one hour shooting) Cecile, the makeup artist, is very friendly and easy going. I was nervous and she put me at ease. She did a nice job on my eye makeup but my photos came out extremely washed out and no contouring was done as requested. I guess the bright lights during the photo shoot did NOTHING to enhance my features. I think some shadows would have been much better. Domenico was very nice during the shoot. Prior to booking, he told me the makeup artist would be there through the shoot to fix my hair and makeup, which did not happen. Most of the shots had 'flyaway' hairs or bangs which just looked disheveled, so I could not use a majority. He spent and hour and took about 150 shots of me. Unfortunately the best shots came from outside lighting, but by the time he figured this out, my time was over. Out of 150 shots, I chose 4 which were 'ok' at best. While in the review room, I saw my pics in the dark which were projected from a computer screen. The four I chose looked MUCH better in the dark as opposed to the ones I received through Drop Box. They were sent to me without any touch ups, which I was told was included. All in all, I could have paid MUCH less for the same quality, perhaps better, especially with no digital enhancements...I mean these pics are going EVERYWHERE....I just wanted them to look like the best 'me' possible.

What do real estate agents charge?

Real estate agents typically don’t charge a set rate to their clients, but rather earn a commission on the price of the final home sale. In traditional real estate, there is a buyer’s agent and a seller’s agent. The two agents receive 5 percent to 6 percent of the final home sale price and split it evenly, meaning they each earn roughly 2.5 percent to 3 percent of the total home sale. If you are a home seller, you may have fees associated with the sale that are above and beyond the commission the agents earn. The real estate agent may have you pay marketing fees, MLS fees, early cancellation fees, or more.
