FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
While I attempt to keep my costs reasonable in order to give each student an opportunity to learn in a safe and encouraging environment, my pricing is also based on my education and vast experience both as a singer, performer and director. I offer 50% off the first lesson to give both the student and myself an opportunity to see if we are a good fit. I offer 10% off a 10-lesson package and 15% off a 20-lesson package. I teach year round.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each person and vocal instrument is so unique! When we first meet I take time to listen to your goals, experiences and concerns. I like to hear you sing a piece you feel good about (if you have one prepared) and vocalize you for range, quality (voice type), and overall God-given uniqueness in your instrument. I take time to improve a piece you are currently working on and get started on any good habits that will benefit your singing immediately and in the long term.
