Dr D came to my mothers rest home for an afternoon holiday party. Its a small home of only seven residents and he was wonderful, kind and warm spirited. The residents really enjoyed his style and selections. It was so much more than music. We were all in the holiday spirit by the hour’s end. We wish him all the best!Dec 12, 2017Verified

I am extremely pleased wth my sons results. After his sessions with Dr. Dubler, he is a much more confident young man! He had taken the test twice and did not perform well at all. We just received his results and were amazed at his success. My son increased reading by over 160 points and math by 100 points. We are thrilled. I can't say enough about the services received and the life long effects it will have on my son . Thanks for everything!Apr 2, 2015Verified
Dr. Dubler was an absolute pleasure to have tutor my daughter. By the end of her tutoring she had upped her score 110+ points. Will definitely recommend him to all parents needing an SAT tutor!Feb 25, 2015Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? It generally takes 8 2-hour sessions to prepare, Our one-on-one tutoring IS expensive; $150 per session [although one competitor charges $240 per session and all national companies charge $65 per HALF hour. Students actually do better [and pay less] with group sessions. The more students in a group, the less each student pays. If there are 9 or more students, the original student whose home we use gets his/her tutoring for FREE!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Even though I have been preparing students for the SAT for 30 years, I read all the new research & material every year. Just a month ago, Time Magazine labeled the SAT as a "Fraud & a Hoax." Strong words, but true. The test does not give students a fair chance to do well without knowing the Strategy.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I always knew I was "test-smart;" I just didn't know why. It was during my graduate studies that I discovered the elements that allow some people to test well, and others to test poorly.
