FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I will always try to provide accurate estimates, understand that underlying, hidden damage can add to any initial estimate. I have a distance fee for any job outside of my designated "Daytona Beach and surrounding area". Rush requests and jobs that require me to bring in staff other than myself will also increase the base rate of $75/hr for 1 tech, $85/hr for 2 techs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have an initial conversation to understand the clients needs and goals. I will provide an estimate and schedule a time to preform the task. Some clients prefer to purchase their own materials, others prefer I do it. I can work with both as long there is clear communication about the desired outcome and feasibility of materials used to achieve that goal.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a retired ASE master tech in heavy collision body work. After 35 years in the business, I know the importance of straight, plum and square. Attention to detail is critical to the safety of the individual car owner and their family after a repair. I treat my clients now with same attention to detail and ensure that everything I fix or build is done right the first time. Time and money are valuable to both my client and my business. I will do my best to offer the best value but will refuse to cut corners when it comes to the structural integrity of anything I build, fabricate or repair.
