Worked very hard in the hot sun for 2 days. Beautiful job!!!!! I highly recommend Don for any project big or small... Very prompt and very courteous. This was a very large Deck. The workmanship and quality was Amazing!!!!
I have contracted with many companies in my 30 years of commercial and residential projects. MF Concrete is by far one of the best I have dealt with. They are quality oriented, honest, competative in pricing, and they will meet or exceed your expectations as they did with my custom pool deck. Mike and Christina are a pleasure to work with. They kept me reasonably informed every step of the way and went above and beyond to get me the look I needed for my deck finish as well. I can honestly tell you there are very few companies that do things as promised these days. Most do or say anything to get the job, grab your money and then the rest is a crap shoot. Not with MF. These guys have the highest integrity and strive to acheive total customer satisfaction. I will use them for all my future concrete related work. 6 Stars!
Mark did a great job on a drywall repair project. He was able to complete the project quickly in 1 day by coming in twice the same day. I will definitely use his services again in the future!
I needed a rush repair on flooring and Ray came, saw and did the job. Left it neat and clean. I'd gladly hire him again. His price was well within reason.
I contracted Ryan and Mark to do renovations on our villa in Palm Harbor. The work was done over a two week period and included electrical, drywall, ceiling repair, millwork, plumbing and painting. From start to finish I was extremely impressed with the way they approached the project - very detailed in the estimate and attentive to the specifications and expectations we had on the front side. Once the work began, they were on the job every day, worked efficiently and got things done in a workmanlike manner. The quality of the work was excellent, and I would most certainly recommend their services without reservation. Mark and Ryan were very easy to approach in regard to the unexpected extra work which inevitably comes up as a part of a remodel, and they were very detailed in the description of the changes and very fair regarding the price. After the work was completed, there were a few minor details which required some punch work, a couple of missed trim areas on the painting, and a little caulking touch up, (just mentioned to illustrate that nothing is 100% perfect) but I didn't feel it was anything I needed to call them back to do. I have absolutely no doubt that had there been anything I did feel they needed to come back to finish off, that they would have done so cheerfully. Great job!
Did a great job with landscaping services from every aspect. From re-sodding the grass to the landscaping design. I'm very impressed with the final product and would recommend Many Moons to anyone that needs a quality job to be done for the right price! As well Many Moons provides my lawn care and has maintained every detail in the contract precisely so the work is extraordinary and my yard looks flawless.
Steve is a thorough professional and did an excellent job with the tile repair at home. He was very practical on what should be done and his pricing is least to say very reasonable. His attention to details and quality really surprised me no matter how small the job is. He was in constant touch from the day I hired him until the work was performed in terms of scheduling and the materials required to complete the work. I would definitely recommend him for anyone looking for quality work and would love to hire him back for any future work.
Rodney has fair pricing and does a great job. He is thorough and was able to really clean up our pool decking and driveway.
Jaime did an outstanding job with the remodel of our master bath. He is a perfectionist and every little detail matters. He came to work everyday and is not like the typical "Florida" contractor. His tile work is exceptional and the alignments are perfect. He truly cares about everything he did for us and we will definitely have him back to work on the other areas of our home. Important to note, he is trustworthy and cared for our house as if it was his own. Superb work! Jaime your a great person, hard worker and artist and we thank you for making our home beautiful!!
Tear down of upper deck patio area. Tiled a 330 sq/ft area and installed waterproofing and baseboard. Excellent trustworthy guy. The job was done A+ and I will use him and hes crew again anytime.
In summary: Greg made it his personal mission to restore my faith in contractors, and he has done so beyond any expectations I had! We have tackled a few significant construction projects over the last 5 years and this has by far been the best experience we've ever had with a contractor, bar none. Details of our job included: Adding a half bathroom in an existing addition and painting throughout most of the house. The bathroom entailed specialized plumbing needs, electric, framing, vent work, drywall, texture and paint. My favorite parts about this experience have been: 1) Greg runs his business like a business; from educating clients on code for each area of the project, to using software for quoting purposes (which creates details and transparency the customer wants to see), to adhering to committed time frames. It is so nice to work with a fellow professional, who "gets it"! It was obvious fairly quickly that we were dealing with a business person, not just a contractor, and that makes for a very positive experience. 2) His demeanor. Greg first and foremost listened to what we wanted and was able to guide us through the mechanics of how the job needed to be approached for building code purposes, as well as to ensure the end product is what we really wanted. He did significant research on our particular property and situation prior to presenting the quote, and immediately created a level of comfort with his knowledge of the needs of our situation. I even had another contractor say they couldn't do this job, when in fact it just took some creative thinking. Nothing is too big a request for Greg, either he's done it already or can figure out what works! 3) He respected our experiences and met us where we were at with regards to bad prior experiences. He provided many references for me to call first, and truly listened to my concerns so he could provide comfort along the way and consistently prove that we would not be burned as in the past.. 4) He KNOWS WHAT HE's DOING. Every challenge we had, Greg had an answer for and was spot on! 5) Greg has wonderful communication skills, and integrity is obviously important to him, with both a professional reputation and personal character to uphold to his customers. Being overly communicative is a trait that you cherish in a person who is at your house for full days, weeks in a row. 6) Pricing was competitive despite all of the above, which seems to good to be true. Greg manages overhead strategically, and is able to charge fairly. He is also aware of great places to obtain materials outside of the normal modes of purchasing. I honestly cannot say there was one bad aspect of my experience, and with a job of this size/complexity that is quite unbelievable! I'd recommend Greg enthusiastically for any construction or remodel job you have, and will be adding my contact information to his list of happy references you can call!
I can not rave enough about Reel Construction, they are second to none. We are new residents of Seminole, FL and bought a home that ended up needing some MAJOR repairs and renovations (including structural). Not knowing anyone locally for the job, we had to depend on our gut to choose our General Contractor. We reached out to countless contractors, called numbers off of vehicles driving down the road and trolled the internet for more hours than we wished. Our scope included: -Demo the entire exterior of the house down to structural wood and replace 30 year old cedar planks with Hardie lap siding and nasty tar paper wrap with Tyvek. -Eliminate 2 windows entirely, convert 2 windows to doors (one sliding and one french), replace 11 other 30 year old windows with up to date, code compliant Anderson windows, convert 1 sliding glass door to a window and cut off a dilapidated, rotted 12ft x 8ft balcony on a third floor. -New roof. Which he was honest in telling me that I was better off contacting a roofer independently and gave me 3 roofers to contact. We ended up Going with Acoma Roofing...also a total home run, great experience, phenomenal outfit! So, after reaching out to dozens of people, it came down to 4 GC's... 1- Guy A, came by to look at the scope and after calling him for a week asking for a proposal, he finally answered the phone and said he did not have time for our job. 2- Guy B, was 3 hours late to a set appointment, "could not find our house", claimed he is a one man show with no overhead which is why his (incomplete) estimate that did not cover my entire scope of work and was suspiciously low...This dude was 80 years old and didn't really "listen" to me during his visit anyways. 3- Guy C, I had to beg him for a face to face meeting to go over the scope of our job for 3 weeks! He finally sent his "new foreman" and he showed up to our house late and with his wife and kids in tow...Then I had to beg him for 3 more weeks for a proposal which I still have not gotten as I write this review. And those are the ones that I got in touch with!!! This doesn't include the countless emails sent and voicemails left with responses that range from no call back or clearly incompetent outfits, to having a yelling match over the phone because "I didn't know what I was talking about and if we are going to start out by you telling me how I'm going to run my job, then go call someone else..." It is exhausting to even narrow it down to 3 equal, or even similar options to choose from. Also, if you are reading this and are wondering who these other outfits are, feel free to call me for more details, my name is Happy 904-716-1616 So on to the good stuff, from day one, Jory was punctual, attentive, accommodating and answered the phone (or called me back by COB) every time I needed him. He is friendly, clean cut and very professional. He is well educated, courteous around my wife and kids and well mannered. Basically the dude has it together and is not a disheveled mess. He made us feel comfortable from the moment we met. He caries himself with the confidence that no job is to big but remains humble enough that you would hire him for a simple bathroom remodel or an inexpensive deck addition...I can confidently say that he has the knowledge and skill to tackle any job. He took care of every detail from pulling permits to assisting with my material order from Home Depot. He negotiated with the scaffolding company on my behalf and took a bill that potentially was $10k to half of that. He coordinated every city and county inspection and did EVERYTHING on the up and up. I do not have a shadow of a doubt that he is the most honest General Contractor that I have met or will ever meet, and that extends to his crews BTW... On several occasions his crews worked at our house with full access to the inside (we had no option) while we were out of town or away for the entire day. Most of the time he was not there the whole day, leaving Crispin, his main foreman in charge. At no point were any valuables in our house (or garage) even looked at, there was plenty of opportunity for stuff to go missing and it never happened, it's not even a thought to these guys. With a lot of hesitation, I gave him the keys to my house, but our stuff remained as safe as if I was there watching them...it blows my mind that people this honest still exist. Everybody from Jory himself, Crispin, Pablo, Vicente, Thomas, Ken and down to the newest helper were there just trying to make an honest living. They represent what is great about America! The quality of his work: I am in the elevator business, I came from oil and power, I know my way around tools...on a few occasions I tried to cut some corners (not compromising the end product or look, but mainly to save money) and he put his foot down and did things right. On one occasion even saying that his name was on the line and he would work with me on the cost of doing it right if he needed to but refused to cut a corner, even when I was asking him to! In any event, we ran into a lot of water and termite damage to the house that was out of scope and he could have nickle and dimmed me to death but instead chose to keep my final bill reasonable (he is not the cheapest guy out there but he is the best by a long shot, and you truly get what you pay for). Now check this out, and I still have a hard time believing this myself, but, he started my job the day we agreed, he finished my job 15 days ahead of schedule and the final bill was within 2% of his original budget... Everything you have read so far is why I am taking the time (that I don't really have) out of my busy day to write such a detailed review. He deserves to be raved about and no, he did not bride me to write this! As you can read, Jory Romano and his crews far exceeded our expectations. I will never go to another outfit for my future remodeling or constructions needs nor will I ever stop raving about how impressed I am with Reel Construction!
Mr Shields has done numerous home projects for me over the past eight years. Bath remodels, kitchen upgrades, moving walls, drywall, painting and tile work. Mr. Shields has always been easy to work with. I've always found him to do the job he promised to do at the price he promised it would be done at. This is rare in the handyman area in Tampa Bay. I would strongly recommend him for any handyman projects at home. C. A. Livingston
I feel very fortunate that I found George to correct the problem I found when I moved into my new home. There was a leak in a drain pipe inside the wall , which caused mold damage and extensive damage to the bathroom vanities and adjoining bedroom. George worked with me to recover almost all of the cost of the damage from my insurance company and made the repairs in a remarkable short time. He was very attentive to detail and took care of every part of the construction from mold removal to replacement of the vanities, plumbing, painting and tile replacement. He was a life saver.
I hired KLW Consulting Inc. to repair the drywall in my house after it had been vandalized. Paul's price was reasonable compared to the other quotes I received. Honestly, I thought that I would have to provide the material and texture the walls after it was done but I was wrong. The job was done neatly, timely, and ready for paint. I was also impressed with the images they posted of completed projects, that I hired KLW for tile removal, tile installation, bathroom remodel, and a number of other things I needed for my house. Most importantly, Paul has been considerate, flexible, and patient having that my house is in Tampa but I do not live in the Tampa area. I'd recommend KLW.
I have a company that does residential rehabs. I've hired CBTC multiple times as a sub-contractor. Their work ethic and honesty sets them apart from other subs. Their attention to detail is above and beyond. They always do more than I ask when I hire them for a project. I highly recommend CBTC.
We contacted Premier Builders & Restoration for an estimate on pool decking, but we got so much more. Check out their website! They do pretty much anything and everything. They replaced our entire kitchen, pool door, and 3 bathroom vanities. They painted baseboards, replace lighting fixtures, and even hung pictures for us. They even did some plumbing that other contractors could not. Every member of their team was professional and aimed to please. PBR provided very detailed estimates and stuck to them and they are fast. We will use them once were ready to replace the pool decking and Ive referred them to friends and family. PBRs #1 priority was to make us happy. Thank you Mike, Robby, Jason, Terrance, and Wayne! Our place looks fabulous!
Ken Stock and his team are fabulous. I am from New York where I am used to having refinishing, restoration and carpentry work done by craftsmen and women described as "Old World Crafts Professional" and Ken Stock and his team fit that description to a tee. Their knowledge is excellent and from what they describe, their completion of work is done to top standards. In New York, I have worked with knowledgeable crafts people from Europe and the Caribbean and I look forward to having work done by Ken Stock and his team in Florida.
I have used this service several times over the past six years and have been extremely pleased with their professional responsiveness, fairness, and pricing for service. I would whole heartily recommend Cold Blue AC.
K & S Contractors has done a lot of work for my company. Drywall finish, hardwood flooring install, painting, deck builds, and framing. They do excellent work.
We spoke over the phone..we communicated well enough to put the job in motion over the phone.. ordered material had it delivered. Most of the material was on site. .to get the job done in one day and would of been if the supplies where available ..overall I'm fortunate to of found someone in short notice to get the job done..deck and ramp looks tip top thank you.. Everyone likes it..
Sam is extremely knowledgable and has a calm demeanor. He took the time with me and walked every square inch of the house going over things to consider and what he has see. And also his own personal recommendations. He was a bit on the higher end and worth every penny. The team was on time every day if not early and stayed very late (the home was vacant). Very meticulous about everything. Cleaned up every day. I would highly recommend Sam Pace for interior and exterior painting.
