They pressure washed my deck and porch then painted it. He came back to put another coat . He is very good and made sure everything was perfect. I have more projects I will definitely have him take care of again!
I so appreciate David's honest approach to his work. He came out this morning and had a good look at my gutters and told me he could fix them but I might be better off getting new gutters and he didn't do that. This kind of honestly is a rare thing. So, I would recommend him highly to you if you are looking at any kind of general maintenance.
Beau was such a pleasure to do business with, and my mother-in-law was extremely happy with the IKEA furniture he assembled for her. Price was absolutely reasonable and he does an excellent job, in addition to being super kind and reliable!! Thank you, Beau!! We'll definitely recommend you to our friends & family if the need arises!! :)
What an awesome job. Went above and beyond and the fence and pavers look fantastic.
Great job & on time-- completed what he said he would very nicely No surprises – – that's always a great thing. 😎👍🏼 Broken brick wall and busted up paver walkway both now look beautiful.
Chis painted my dining room, living room, archways, hallway and all the ceilings. He showed up to work everyday on time and worked hard all day. He repaired any minor holes and painted the corners professionally. He did a quality job, hire him.
I can not rave enough about Reel Construction, they are second to none. We are new residents of Seminole, FL and bought a home that ended up needing some MAJOR repairs and renovations (including structural). Not knowing anyone locally for the job, we had to depend on our gut to choose our General Contractor. We reached out to countless contractors, called numbers off of vehicles driving down the road and trolled the internet for more hours than we wished. Our scope included: -Demo the entire exterior of the house down to structural wood and replace 30 year old cedar planks with Hardie lap siding and nasty tar paper wrap with Tyvek. -Eliminate 2 windows entirely, convert 2 windows to doors (one sliding and one french), replace 11 other 30 year old windows with up to date, code compliant Anderson windows, convert 1 sliding glass door to a window and cut off a dilapidated, rotted 12ft x 8ft balcony on a third floor. -New roof. Which he was honest in telling me that I was better off contacting a roofer independently and gave me 3 roofers to contact. We ended up Going with Acoma Roofing...also a total home run, great experience, phenomenal outfit! So, after reaching out to dozens of people, it came down to 4 GC's... 1- Guy A, came by to look at the scope and after calling him for a week asking for a proposal, he finally answered the phone and said he did not have time for our job. 2- Guy B, was 3 hours late to a set appointment, "could not find our house", claimed he is a one man show with no overhead which is why his (incomplete) estimate that did not cover my entire scope of work and was suspiciously low...This dude was 80 years old and didn't really "listen" to me during his visit anyways. 3- Guy C, I had to beg him for a face to face meeting to go over the scope of our job for 3 weeks! He finally sent his "new foreman" and he showed up to our house late and with his wife and kids in tow...Then I had to beg him for 3 more weeks for a proposal which I still have not gotten as I write this review. And those are the ones that I got in touch with!!! This doesn't include the countless emails sent and voicemails left with responses that range from no call back or clearly incompetent outfits, to having a yelling match over the phone because "I didn't know what I was talking about and if we are going to start out by you telling me how I'm going to run my job, then go call someone else..." It is exhausting to even narrow it down to 3 equal, or even similar options to choose from. Also, if you are reading this and are wondering who these other outfits are, feel free to call me for more details, my name is Happy 904-716-1616 So on to the good stuff, from day one, Jory was punctual, attentive, accommodating and answered the phone (or called me back by COB) every time I needed him. He is friendly, clean cut and very professional. He is well educated, courteous around my wife and kids and well mannered. Basically the dude has it together and is not a disheveled mess. He made us feel comfortable from the moment we met. He caries himself with the confidence that no job is to big but remains humble enough that you would hire him for a simple bathroom remodel or an inexpensive deck addition...I can confidently say that he has the knowledge and skill to tackle any job. He took care of every detail from pulling permits to assisting with my material order from Home Depot. He negotiated with the scaffolding company on my behalf and took a bill that potentially was $10k to half of that. He coordinated every city and county inspection and did EVERYTHING on the up and up. I do not have a shadow of a doubt that he is the most honest General Contractor that I have met or will ever meet, and that extends to his crews BTW... On several occasions his crews worked at our house with full access to the inside (we had no option) while we were out of town or away for the entire day. Most of the time he was not there the whole day, leaving Crispin, his main foreman in charge. At no point were any valuables in our house (or garage) even looked at, there was plenty of opportunity for stuff to go missing and it never happened, it's not even a thought to these guys. With a lot of hesitation, I gave him the keys to my house, but our stuff remained as safe as if I was there watching them...it blows my mind that people this honest still exist. Everybody from Jory himself, Crispin, Pablo, Vicente, Thomas, Ken and down to the newest helper were there just trying to make an honest living. They represent what is great about America! The quality of his work: I am in the elevator business, I came from oil and power, I know my way around tools...on a few occasions I tried to cut some corners (not compromising the end product or look, but mainly to save money) and he put his foot down and did things right. On one occasion even saying that his name was on the line and he would work with me on the cost of doing it right if he needed to but refused to cut a corner, even when I was asking him to! In any event, we ran into a lot of water and termite damage to the house that was out of scope and he could have nickle and dimmed me to death but instead chose to keep my final bill reasonable (he is not the cheapest guy out there but he is the best by a long shot, and you truly get what you pay for). Now check this out, and I still have a hard time believing this myself, but, he started my job the day we agreed, he finished my job 15 days ahead of schedule and the final bill was within 2% of his original budget... Everything you have read so far is why I am taking the time (that I don't really have) out of my busy day to write such a detailed review. He deserves to be raved about and no, he did not bride me to write this! As you can read, Jory Romano and his crews far exceeded our expectations. I will never go to another outfit for my future remodeling or constructions needs nor will I ever stop raving about how impressed I am with Reel Construction!
Alan is AWESOME!! He hung our wall decor, assembled our office desk, hutch & office chair and also picked up our bookshelf from the company for us! He's a sweetheart and you're stupid if you don't hire him lol! Thanks for everything Alan!
Julio was was very professional. He done an excellent job with my interior paint job. He finished on time and more importantly on budget. I highly recommend julio for all your painting needs large or small. Received a lot of compliments on the deep tan walls he painted.
We hired Parthenon to help transform our backyard into our own private oasis. We added 2 patios, walkway and had a gazebo installed. It looked so nice we decided to have them till up the bahia grass and add st Augustine grass. The patios were dyed a two tone color which looked fabulous. The guys were professional and responded almost immediately to my calls. The pricing was very affordable. If pavers are too expensive consider a concrete pad that has the look of pavers or stone. I will be using them for my next home project.
Well, my fiancé and I had our patio pavers restored about 6 months ago. We are very pleased with the work Nick and his crew did. Nick was very professional, courteous, on time, and very reasonable. Our patio is stunning! I highly recommend Dura-Guard to anyone and everyone that wants quality paver restoration
I bought an older home in St Petersburg, and Jared Pickering of Pickering Masonry helped me remodel both my back patio and front porch. In the back, Pickering Masonry tore out an old, rotting wood deck and replaced it with a modern grey paver patio. In the front, they tore out cracked pink tiles and replaced with white limestone pavers in a herringbone pattern. I absolutely love both remodels, which update and brighten my home. Further, I was impressed with the promptness, professionalism, and quality that Pickering Masonry provided. Finally - their price was fantastic, especially in comparison to other quotes I received for the same service. Can't wait for my next project!
Johnathan Herold of Ocean Construction and Plumbing just finished painting the outside of my house. Johnathan and his associate were very professional and courteous. They got right to work and finished my house when they said they would. Johnathan even fixed a couple of things I did not notice at no extra charge. They cleaned up after the work was done, and did a great job. I would highly recommend Johnathan Herold and Ocean Construction.
Amelia was so easy to work with! I needed to update my dated cape-cod lake house. With paint, some flooring, a little updated lighting and a few pieces of new furniture, she created a warm and inviting setting that made it ready for entertaining. She went shopping with me and helped me pick out items that made my house "flow" from room to room. Amelia snugged me out of my comfort zone (i.e. rut) and updated my style. I could not be happier with the results. I highly recommend working with her.
Frank pressure washed my lanai, patio furniture, driveway & walkway. He did a very professional job at a reasonable price & I am ready to hire him again for whatever jobs I need done.
I had an outdoor kitchen installed with paved patio. They also offered a paver sealing. The outcome was superb. They were professional and prompt. I'm going to recommend to everyone I know!
